This is all hand crocheted lace edging and hand embroidered center work. Today I have on offer this Antique Sterling Silver Hallmarked Bookmark which has an Irish Lyre Finial as shown in large pictures. It is fully marked Sterling 925 as shown in the large pictures and is in good condition general wear with age and use very tiny split in one of the silver strings as shown in close up pictures below. The bookmark measures 7.5 cm long and 2.3 cm wide and weighs 6.9 grams. Please see large pictures below for all the details. LONG LENGTH AND WIDE ANTIQUE LACE TRIM~IRISH LACE~318" for REPURPOSE
This is beautiful antique lace that is offered in two lengths. One is 182" long and is 90% perfect which just some braids here and there need mending. the other is 136" and has more damage so less is usable or it is there and needs more extensive repairs; but still at least 80" perfect. It is from curtain panels. someone decided to wash it which destroyed the fabric parts. luckily it is strong linen lace. I think it is called Irish lace. This is the second two lengths I have listed.

Copper and Delft coal hod, coal scuttle or coal bucket(depends on what part of the country you're from) is sure to make a tremndous impact on your decor, or be a great help if you actually use it for coal. An antique reproduction, this has a handmade Delft pottery handle, a hand formed brass handle, cast brass lion's heads for the handle mounts, as well as 4 cast brass lion's paws for feet. All are hand riveted with copper rivets. Has an old partial sticker from an auction, as well as an old label that reads: Made in the Republic of Ireland, superimposed over a shamrock, and: Any dents or discoloration which appear on this item, are part of the antiquing process, as this item is a replica of an antique, made of solid brass and copper. Antique Irish Mahogany Supper Table
This beautiful table is in very good condition. Unused since my husband purchased it. There is a crack in the center of the table. And one edge of wood under the table is cracked as to be expected in a piece this age. These areas have been there since purchasing. They have not changed in any way. The table measures 4' 2.5" when folded upright. The table is 37 ¾" wide with 13 circular place settings(including the center one) The height of the table is 29" I'm unsure of the exact age.

It measures 22 1/2" long including the tailpiece; the head is 8" wide and the neck is 14" long. It needs some restoration but plenty to work with- essentially complete. Some chipping to the maple of the frame for the head, needs a new skin for the head, needs some bracket hooks replaced- check my photos. The maple frame and neck are nice and solid. With minimal effort it could easily be brought back to fine playing condition. I could not find a maker's name but it is of fine quality- very well made quite solid. The two types of four-string banjos are tenor banjos and plectrum banjos. Plectrum banjos generally have 22 frets and modern tenor banjos usually have 19 ... morefrets. If you have a four string banjo with 17 frets. You probably have a vintage tenor banjo. The original tenor banjos had 17 frets, while those with 19 frets became the norm in the early 1920s. These are six various patterned antique white Irish linen Damask dinner table napkins. One is unused and has two un-hemmed ends. It has a small fault at one side edge, another is dated 1887(a little indistinct) and another has a hand embroidered monogram, RAN, in one corner. The largest one measures approx. 38" by 32 1/2" and the smallest one measures approx. 27" by 26 1/2" They are all in very good clean freshly laundered condition. Beautiful Antique Irish Crochet Jacket Handmade Irish Crochet Jacket in fine condition. This piece has been carefully cleaned by hand and hand blocked to reshape. Beautiful work here and it is signed in ink by the maker(name is unreadable to me) with the date'28. This is a small sized women's sized jacket with half sleeves and cropped front. The front drop is 15" inches and the rear drop is 18" inches. The sleeves drop 18" inches at the longest point. There are 15 hand crochet buttons that measure 1/4" each that attatch to loops instead of button holes. Two of the loops are broken but the string is still there to re-stitch. One button is missing from the bottom. CONDITION: This lace is in very good antique condition. There are a few places where threads need to be re-atatched and should be an easy fix. In the last ... morephotograph you can see a space where two threads have come apart from the design. There is enough thread left hanging to do the repair. The ivory color is uniform over the entire piece. The condition of the lace and threads is very good and still strong. There are no discolorations. There is a no odor to this piece and it does not appear to have been exposed to smoke. Pets or abuse. It has been carefully stored away from pets and in a smoke free clean environment. It was acquired from an antique dealer in Dublin. Ireland on one of my trips as culinary historian for Irish America Magazine. At the time of purchase, it was yellowed with age, so I had it professionally cleaned by a restoration expert who wrapped it in acid free tissue in which it has been stored dust-free for ten years. Tan, and white cotton fabrics. close ups are closest for color) This quilt is completely hand pieced and hand quilted at about 8-9 stitches per inch. The quilting is done in an allover grid pattern with the squares being smaller in the chain than in the background. Each square of the chain is 1 3/8" square. The back of the quilt is solid light red chambray. The pretty light red color can read more pink or red depending upon the lighting and what you pair it with. The condition is very good. They are not a set- we put them together as they are the exact same weight linen and the same type of handwork. There are two tea tablecloths of different embroidered patterns and sizes and 12 beautiful little tea napkins all in one pattern. One tablecloth measures 34" X 32" and has a deep scalloped embroidered edge. The other cloth is 30" X 28" with tiny edge scallops. The napkins are 14" square and are bright white. Antique Vintage Irish Double Damask All Pure Flax Tablecloth Large 72x72 Unused
Up for bid is an antique Double Damask thick Irish Linen Tablecloth in a ivory. Cream or golden color. Dimensions are 72 x 72. It weighs 1.8 lbs. The labels show that this is a product from Ireland. Note: The other items pictured in the last picture will be up for bids on another listing. The last picture is to only show how all the items have been stored over the years. This tablecloth has a beautiful Rose and Scroll pattern(279) It has been hemmed on two sides. I tried to capture the beauty as best I could. The color shows differently in different lighting. This item was included in a collection of linens that were stored in a large box over many decades. The linens were given to me by a friend who is moving out of state and did not want to carry them with her. I will be listing the other linens separately. It still has the Abraham and Straus Label showing Patt. 279. It also has a label reading: Lovely Linen- impressively correct– made in Ireland” and“Double Damask– warranted all pure flax– made in Ireland” This tablecloth has never been used and still has the original labels attached. This has been stored for many decades in a box with other linens. There are some storage marks which are usual for the length of time stored. Along with some residue left behind from some labels. There are also marks on the reverse of the tablecloth. I have taken some pictures showing the types of marks. Although I am not an expert. I would think the spots would come out with the proper cleaning. I did not attempt to launder the tablecloth. I only unfolded it in order to take some pictures. It is being sold as is.
