For all you history buffs and antique map lovers.this map is the real deal! This copperplate map is divided into sections. Both showing part of the Great Wall of China, West of Beijing(Peking) It was produced by J.N. Bellin for an early edition of'Histoire Generale des Voyages' published in 1749. The map measures 8.5" by 6.5" and has two folds(as issued) as well as attractive hand coloring. It is in fine condition. The engraving is guaranteed to be over 254 years old! Nicely framed and mounted with conservation mat and museum glass included in the price. The custom framing alone had cost over $200. I must sell as I recently loss my job and now gainfully unemployed. With the holidays coming up- makes a great gift!
