Here is a beautiful old French 6 1/2" tall bud vase in a beautiful blue. The front of the vase has a handpainted pink rose bouquet bordered by a 1/4" gold frame. On the bottom of this is an incised W which the camera didn't pick up. This is in excellent unused condition with no chips. Cracks, or crazing and the gilt is strong. There is no damage to the handpainted flowers. This comes from the estate of a gentleman that is downsizing and has a beautiful collection of glass. The top part of the vase has gold handles at the shoulders and a wonderful scalloped rim with gold detailing at the top. A pearl luster finish. Antique Bulbous Double Handle Vase w/ Raised Enamel & Gold Gilding Hand Painted
An absolutely gorgeous vase. The exact age and maker of this piece are unknown. This may be attributed to early Nippon but I am not positive. It is similar to many I have seen that are not marked but were Nippon. This has a bulbous body that sits on a footed pedestal base. The body has an approximate diameter of 20" at the widest area just below the handles. It has height of 7" to the highest point on the ruffled neck. The main body of this is decorated with flowers in various shades of reds and pinks. They are highlighted with leaves and branches in shades of green. There are four panels with the flowers. Each panel has a thin gold vertical with raised gold enamel dots band separating it from another decorative band. These band consist of flowers. Hearts, and geometric designs painted in a deep burgundy color and gold as well. ... moreThere are also areas onthese bands that have the raised gold enamel accents. The bands meet at a burgundy painted circle that is decorated with what look like harps in raised gold enamel with geometric designs around them. This design flows upwards to the top edge of the vase.The ruffled top edge has a thin gold band painted around it. The double handles originally were painted god but there are losses to the god from being handled. The footed base has a thin neck that the bulbous portion sits on. There is a section at the lower area of the vase body that is milky white color and this extends down the neck where it ends at a gold banded with the same burgundy and gold enamel design as the neck. The outer edge of the base also has a gold band with raised gold enamel dots. There are losses to the gold on thsi section as well. There are no marks on the base of this vase. Along with other marks[ the#11, ENGLAND, and a small diamond shape[1/8" The vase is 12-1/2" tall,has a 4-1/2" rim,6" wide at the middle and has a 4" base. The the upper 2" and the lower 1" has a gilded color. The main decor. is a beautiful floral display on both sides. This is a pretty antique Warwick vase. It is 11 1/2" high and 6 1/2" across the bottom. The flowers are lavender on both sides. There is crazing through out this vase; just adds to the charm of the antique it is! The bottom has the"Warwick" stamp and"A-21" There are tiny white spots and a few scratches in the dark brown area near the bottom of the vase. This vase has no chips or cracks. The Lamps are in amazing condition with no chips, cracks or repairs, there is minor wear throughout and some missing jewels as I am sure any untouched example would show. The Lamps also make for an amazing display measuring approx 31" tall to the top of the harps or the Vases themselves would measure 18-1/2" tall by 6-1/4" wide. This is a hand turned cylinder vase with three applied handles ... morethat are reticulated and decorative. The lip is folded out just a little and scalloped. If it wasn't for the hand painted flowers and other design elements. This would look much like a flow blue piece. But someone painted the beautiful flowers on it, multi petaled pink blossoms, possibly lotus. Moriage is a style of decoration used by porcelain manufacturers during the late 1800s/early 1900s. It is the art of laying"beads" of porcelain on the item prior to firing in the kiln. Most typically it was decorated later in gold. I was told this is most likely Meissen but unmarked. This measures approx. 9.5" tall and 5" in diameter. The bottom is unmarked. There are no breaks or chips or cracks and no mineral build up from use as a vase. Good Luck! They start near the lip amid a golden glow and fall sweetly upon the pale blue field getting smaller and smaller as they descend. The vase measures 4-3/4 inches tall by 4-1/2 inches wide. vintage Porcelain Vase Royal Bonn Germany Beautiful Floral Design Hand Painted
I am not an antique dealer. I am not well informed about the old vase, I will show all marks, to help you identify the piece. There are no chips, or cracks, no dings, there is some light crazing, but you(I) have to hold the vase up close to see it. The bottom is marked"Royal Bonn Germany" with what looks to me to be the initials FM or TM and the numbers 1731. There are other marks inscribed on the bottom, it looks like before the vase was fired. The floral design looks hand painted to me. One side has gold leaf around the edges of the design. The piece stands 14 1/2" tall, and is 7" wide at the widest point. I have no idea of the value. I guarantee item to be as described or your money back, including postage both ways.
