Pair Antique Bennington Pottery Parian Vases Ear of Corn Held by Cherubs 1847-58
Here is an unusual pair. They become available individually. But I haven't seen a pair around. They are Bennington and are identified in Richard Barret's Book dated 1958. There is one chip visible inside the top of one of the vases. I show it in picture#9. We are buyers. Sellers and traders. We work in the Bucks County Pennsylvania area. A lovely pair of 19th century English Bristol vases in pearl gray color with painted enamel decor of flowers in tones of violet. Blue, pink, yellow and white with two-toned green leaves and brown accents of grass and/or foliage. The rear of the vases have a small design of a green leaf and brown sprig. Vases are unmarked and in excellent condition. Each vase measures approximately 9 inches tall by 3 and 3/4 inches wide. These would look lovely on a mantle or etagere. 18" Royal Bonn Portrait Vase with Bronze Collar c 1875 Landscape & Dancers
18" Covered Royal Bonn Portrait Vase w/ Bronze Collar c 1875 Landscape& Dancers Colorful decoration of a young couple dancing and this surrounds the vase. This vase has a bronze collar with a floral pattern in it. The colors are bright. The only damage is a surface chip on the edge of the lid about 1/4" square as shown in photo#11. No cracks or hairlines. The marks on the bottom include an underglaze incised 2 and 259 and the circular mark Franz Ant. Mehlem Bonn Reine as shown in photo#10. The base also shows the Crowned FAM Bonn mark used between 1875- 1890. Also in gold is 2283 and 32(which matches the gold number in the lid) and 1416. Check out my!

Old Paris Vases from 1840's
Up for bid is a pair of 1840's Paris Vases. They stand 12" tall and 9 1/4" wide at the top. Both have different scenes of 19th century mills on a river. These came from an estate and was told that the marks on the bottom dated them to the 1840's. Paint on tulips have a lot of ware and one tulip has half of tulip missing as shown in picture. No other chips or cracks or damage.

It measures 22cm in height and 13cm width, I don't know much about chinese porcelain pieces so you will just have to take a close look at the photos, i tried my best to take them as close as possible, the mark on the bottom is raised up enamel hand painted and the base rim is not shiney or enamelled but raw porcelain, if thats any help, it looks old and it is dirty both on the inside and out, I'm sure someone knows something about this piece, I think maybe it could be Famille Rose I'm not 100% sure, I think the photos speek for them self, let me know if you need more photos or to ask any questions. This is a super art nouveau. Bisque finish, ceramic(porcelain? vase” A little girl in her peasant dress has found a large dragonfly that has settled on a giant nautilus shell– pure art nouveau! This is 7” at the highest point of the shell, and 6 ¼” at its widest, a very manageable size for a shelf or a table top. The only marking on the bottom is a hand incised number– 767(5” From the style, and quality, it reminds me of the work of pre-Czech Amphora, and I believe from Bohemia. Possibly the Turn– Teplitz region, or perhaps Bavaria. Wherever it was made. It’s a wonderful piece with a charming subject, and as I say– pure art nouveau! It is in great shape. There are no chips, cracks, or repairs. There is a small area that has a light stain along the base edge(red arrow) There is a small indent made by a tool( in production along the bottom ... moreedge(red arrow) At first I thought it was a tiny flake, but under magnification, you can see it is a push in of the ceramic. There are some tiny“imperfections” not 100% smooth) in the surface of the piece, as expected from work of this period. Belleek Shell Swirl Vase First Green or Fourth mark 1946 - 1955 Vintage Ireland
You are bidding on a Beautiful Vintage Irish Belleek Shell Vase. In my opinion this vase is in excellent vintage condition. On the 4th picture that shows the mark there is an off color spot that appears to be the same color as the inside of the vase on it. It looks like it was done that way when it was made. There are No chips. Cracks or crazing. The vase is approximately 4 1/4" high and about 5" at the widest point. It is a beautiful extremely shiny opalescent/ iridescent cream color on the outside and a little darker cream on the inside. It is very shiny and has the appearance of being wet. I got this vase from my Aunt's estate. According to the mark on the bottom it was made somewhere between 1946 and 1955. Please see the pictures and description below. The first green/fourth mark was when the Pottery resumed full production ... morein 1946 In tests carried out on backstamps. Green was felt to be less obtrusive than black at showing through the translucent China and thus it was decided to change the colour from black to green. The mark is identical to its predecessor in every way except the colour Date your Belleek. The Belleek Mark- Without Which None Is Genuine" All for Belleek's Giftware marks. This is a really lovely example but alas it is not perfect and so is being sold as seen. The neck of the vase has been off and reglued. There is a fleck of glaze missing from the join. On the underside of the lip there is a big chip with a little fleck off the top rim. Measures 10inches high. 2.5inches wide at base and top. It has the full'Doulton' marking to it along with the number 5520 which dates it to 1893. ANTIQUE EDDA AMPHORA AUSTRIA CRABAPPLES VASE ART NOUVEAU
This stunning Amphora Edda vase is the epitome of classic art nouveau pottery. It was made sometime between 1886-1910. There is a frosting of iridescence throughout the cream. Peach and earth tones on the body of the piece along with a rich dusting across the high relief of the crabapples. Condition is excellent for its age and delicate design There is slight crazing on the body of the vase. But no discoloration. The extremely fragile branches and leaves are all intact. Close inspection with a loop has shown there are three fleabites or flakes to the edges of the two of the leaves. There is a very small chip on the backside of the leaf furthest to the right. Please see photo. There is a glaze miss on one leaf that does give the impression of a chip. But it is coated with iridescent glaze and is as it was at manufacture. It measures 7 ½” ... morehigh. Schierholz was one of several famous manufacturers in the Thuringia region of Germany. This vase has the name Kaufmann in one of the panels. It stands 13" high and is 20 1/2" in circumference around the bulbous part. The neck has gold painting that looks like bubbles all over it. Above and below the bubbles. There is NO RESERVE on this beautiful. Art pottery bud vase, that weighs 1/2 pounds. Measures 6" tall, 3 1/2" at widest part of body, has a 1 3/4" flared top. And a 1 3/4" round base diameter. It has has a crackled finish, and displays angels, cherubs, and mythological animals surrounded by cornucopias and vegetal patterns in the tradition of the Renaissance. It is a beautiful piece. It has considerable weight to it(almost 9 lbs) The work is very detailed, and it is done with complete attention to detail The hand painted figures are full of expression.
