Beautiful 11 inch. Urn shaped Vase by Wettina of Austria This 11 inch vase is very interesting because it is different. The urn shape and the cobalt trimming catch the eye.The background color is a pale pink with dark green additions and the cobalt trim. The cobalt trim has gold highlights. The floral design in two panels is of buds. Berries and leaves on a cream background. There are barely noticable age spots on the back side. Inside is clean except for the very bottom which is dark. The mark is hard to read because the artists marked it with red and blue. This is what the mark looks like: There is a crown over a vase shape. Inside this shape is RH, under it is ROYAL. HUGE pair art nouveau vases Secessionist Turn teplitz Amphora 18" high
These European art nouveau vases are real statement pieces. So decorative and striking. I have not been able to track down the mark as to be able to attribute them to a particular factory. I would imagine that they are either German or Austrian. They are a wonderful shape and the decoration fits the form perfectly. They each measure a staggering 18" tall and are marked to the base as seen in the images. They are in very good condition.

Up for auction is a VERY UNIQUE piece of Haeger Pottery ~ ART DECO! This is a very hard to find piece that has been molded to a shape that is contoured to a brass metal basket that raises the basket off the counter creating a handle for the piece. It is numbered 1879- very difficult to read and even more difficult to capture in a picture ~ stamped Haeger USA 1879 on the bottom side of the piece. It is an aqua/teal/light turquois with speckeled color to the glaze. There are three non-glazed dots on the bottom of the basket from where the glazed piece was elevated during the firing process. This is a lovely pair of Meissen porcelain handled vases. They are white with handpainted colorful bouquets on either side. There was gold gilt as well however most of it is worn away. One vase has no chips or repairs however the other has one handle broken and one side of the bottom base has been repainted on the flat part. Only one side. Both are first quality with no scratch marks and measure 8 1/4 inches high by 5 1/4 inches wide. Beautiful for the collector! Monumental Victorian Art Pottery Floor Vase Hand Painted Signed Cobalt Flowers
This auction is for a Monumental Victorian Floor Vase Beautifully Hand Painted in Cobalt Blue Flowers and Signed by the Artist. At nearly two feet tall. The Ceramic Vase is a Stunning Piece of Art Pottery that Displays Wonderfully and would instantly become the focal point of any room. There are no makers marks so I am not certain of the age or the exact era this piece was made. But by the feel and the form. It is clearly from the Victorian Era between the mid and late 1800s and likely of British origin. It is sign on the bottom H.C. Bell. The artist had a beautiful stroke with the brush. It is in very good condition. Especially for its age. The colors and images are clear and bright and POP. The Vase is a bulbous form with a flared mouth and a thick band of cobalt painted at the top and the bottom. One section of the middle is painted with ... morelili-like flowers. Also in cobalt; the other side is pained with a different form of flower. It's like having two vases in one: When you grow tired of the one design. Turn it around and you have an entirely new vase. The vase is also decorated with Gold touches throughout- sponge applied throughout as well as lines of gold that outlines portions of the flowers. There are no chips or cracks or repair. Which is remarkable given the size of weight of the piece. The piece has crazing throughout. It only adds to the character and authenticity of this vase. There are several areas that show drip like toning(see last photo) It doesn't detract from the overall appeal of this Fabulous Piece. The vase measures a massive 23 inches tall. It has an opening that is 11 inches wide. The vase at its widest point measures about 14 inches across with a base of about 10 inches. The piece weighs 23 pounds and will require a very large box. Minton 19th C Turquois Handpainted Vases (circa 1850-1870) Early Mark Look
We are offering an Old pair of fantastic inton Vases done in the 1850 to 1870 period. ASt that time Sevres was making turquois vases and Cherubs was the popular theme. Minton adapted the Sevres styleing and produced there own version. This is one pair of this version. The paintings of Cherubs appear on both sides of each Vase. The condition is exceptional and the quality superb. These are really spectacular vases as you can plainly see. They are 15 1/2 inches in height and 6 1/2 inches in diameter. 7 1/2 inches in diameter handle to handle. They bear very early Minton marks which can be researched.

This is an antique French Ormolu ladies hand mirror and hair brush set with porcelain rose design. The brush is 8 3/4" long by 2 1/2" wide and has no chips. Cracks, flakes, or rep airs. The bristles on the brush are worn down from years of use. The hand mirror is 9 3/4" long by 5 1/4" wide and has no chips. Cracks, flakes, or repairs. The mirror is clear with no fogging as shown. One of the marks appears as CM-R. But is actually, CMHR. 1921 it became a joint stock company. 1945 it was nationalized as Starorolský Porcelán. Item No. 7515 Exquisite PAIR of NIPPON ERA. ART NOUVEAU VASES, BY IEC& CO, JAPAN(1885-1925) circa 1885-1905. Two beautifully gilt-decorated fine porcelain Vases, with both raised and flat brilliant gilding in a lovely design of swags, garlands, leaves; raised gilt beading around rims, outlining the upper and lower mustard yellow arches, and within some of the gilt floral motifs; much raised guilt outlining; hand painted pink roses with green leaves on 4 sides, all against a ground of green and white, with the two accents of yellow at the rim and base; gilt decorated nouveau handles on either side. Each measures about 9-1/2" tall. 6-1/4" handle-to-handle, 3" diameter upper rim, 2-7/8" diameter base. Both vases in excellent condition with normal and expected very minor gilt losses, and one vase has a small, original ... moremanufacturing, rough flaw at the rim; see photos. It is believed IEC& Co did not manufacture for the American market. And" much of their products were exported to Australia and New Zealand. It may be because of this, and that they chose not to join the art deco kick, they were no longer able to compete in the porcelain"industrial revolution" and closed doors in about 1925. A CHINESE EXPORT ALLEGORICAL PLATE circa 1735-45 diameter 8 7/8 in. 22.6 cm) Excellent condition(some wear/loss to enamels) emblematic of'Earth. and depicting Ceres seated beside the naked Bacchus in her lion-drawn chariot with Cybèle and Flora behind them, and on the ground around them playful cupids with baskets of flowers in the hilly landscape, the rim with a two-tone gilt blossom and foliate-scroll border. The scenes on this plate depicts one of'The Four Elements' from popular prints after the series painted by Francesco Albani(1578-1669) initially for the Borghese Palace in Rome. Its popularity. However, encouraged Albani to paint three more series of which the best known was completed in 1635 for Cardinal Maurice of Savoy(later the King of Sardinia) and is now in the Galleria Sabauda, Turin. In La Porcelaine des Compagies ... moredes Indes à Décor Occidental, Paris. 1986, Hervouët and Bruneau illustrate an example of each'Element. pp. 318 and 319, nos. 13.92-13.95, and quote the descriptions that Albani, in his correspondence with the Cardinal, wrote for each painting in the series, explaining his choices of the figures depicted and their symbolic relevance, and also remarking that he made the designs circular so that the'Elements' could be arranged concentrically in the order of the universe. Exquisite detail in workmanship is what this beautiful vase presents. Every aspect of this victorian bisque piece is magnificant right down to the gold slippers the young lady is wearing. The vase measures about 6 1/2" tall and is about 6 1/4" in length. I believe that this is Imperial. It is marked on the back bottom righthand side- there is an oval with a mark inside. Which I cannot make out clearly and a number incized next to the oval that reads 10049 or it could be 13049. This piece is basically in mint condition with some slight wear inthe gold accent along the base and the very top column. A high quality piece for your quality collection. I am getting into some more of my Great Aunt's pieces to sell for her care. This is one beautiful piece. This is a T& V Limoges France hard past po rcelain va se hand painted with artist s ignature. It is signed B. S tepaner and ha s a love ly rose and stem design on it. The vase has no chips. Repair or damage and is marked with the green stamp on the underside with an incised 010 25, I am not certain the age but to say my aunt got it from her mother many years ago. I would estimate 1930's or so. The roses are pink and the leaves are very nice. The very upper rim of the vase shows some wear at the very where it was painted in gold paint.
