Porta Brace Polar Bear Camera Case POL-2
This is a fantastic item to have if you are shooting in very cold weather. It has been used for 2 weeks on a trip to Alaska in February a few years ago. Camera worked in-15 degrees F. I put air activated hand warmers in the pouches and never had any issues. I know it worked because I took the camera out of the case and in just a few minutes it was making green video. Put the camera back in and once the combined hand warmer and camera heat got it back to temp it was working fine. Zipped closed it protects from snow and sleet. We traveled 20 miles by snow machine in a snow storm and when we got to our destination the camera was clean and dry. I used it with a VariCam 27F and a Fuji 22X lens and it was an excellent fit. I assume it will work with just about any camera that has that form factor. Measuring about 9" x 9" This Holland Mold Co. ceramic ashtray features a polar bear and a cub walking on a grassy bank by a pool of water. It's got six grooves for holding cigars or pipes, and is coated with a milky glaze. Its in great shape with the exception of a small chip on the big bear's left ear. I believe it dates from the 1960's, but I'm not positive.

I am selling part of my collection of Inuit Soap Stone Carvings. This particular soapstone sculpture is truly one-of-a-kind and shows a Polar Bear with a Seal. Created by Lukasi Kanarjua Qinuajua in 1973. The artist was born 1937 and lived most of his life in Akulivik. Nunavik. Quebec. This is definitively one of his most dramatic carvings. Many Inuit carvers from Quebec use real live themes which reflect true nature. The sculpture is 8” or 20 cm long. 5” or 13 cm high and 6”or 15 cm wide. INUIT/ESKIMO BONE CARVING LETTER OPENER W/ POLAR BEAR DECORATION
Measures approx. 7 1/4" long. This was done by the Inuit Indians. The handle has a polar bear on the butt. Has baline eyes. Mouth is colored red which is typical for these carvings on the back. I couldn't get it to come up in photos. It says on the back, Alaska and U S. That is the best I could make out. Really well carved piece. Circa 1925. Normal wear, no damage.
