Antique ? Cobalt Blue Blown Glass Decorative Fruit
Beautiful little blown glass piece of fruit. The design is very simple. A bulbous body with a strip of glass attached to the top resembling a leaf. There are very tiny bubbles and wavy lines throughout the piece. There are a couple of tiny bubbles that have burst or they might just be very shallow from their creation. I honestly don't detect any scratching. But I add a disclaimer in case there is. The only area of real concern for me is at the end of the leaf decoration. It has either been sheared off by a glass blowing tool, or it has be chipped. Regardless, it does not really detract from the charm of this piece. The base has ample base wear and little dimples in the glass. I think this piece is pretty old, but I cannot say for certain. It is, however, very charming. Antique Blown & Cut Art Glass Egret - Heron w Mineral Quartz & Pyrite Fools Gold
Description: I would have to say in all my years of selling antique glass. This figurine is one of the most unusual findings. We have many mixed material going on, and this is very appealing to many collectors of sorts. The heron is blown of colourless crystal glass with a satin finish. There is tiny"feather" cuts through out the entire bird to give a naturalistic appearance. The eyes are glass as well. Yellow and black dots. The sharp glass beak is a dark tinted colour. Heron is attached by glue to two metal legs which sits or rather is glued onto a piece of natural quartz. On the feet of the bird is tiny pieces of Pyrite or aka Fools Gold. Underneath the piece of quartz there is a another glued on section of quartz which I would presume to help stabilize the rock possibly. Have no idea who made it. Vintage Blown Glass Statues: 2 Birds one fish
Three beautiful hand blown glass animals: 2 birds and one fish. The two birds have minor chips/breaks in them. The fish is perfect. The second pic shows the first bird which has the tip of his tale chipped. The second bird has his tiny wing off but in the last photo you see the other one is fine. These flaws do not take away from the beauty of the animals though. I have looked here on ebay and similar blown glass animals seem to be selling at approx. $24.00-$45.00 or so EACH! These were bought a looooong time ago at a flea market. Seems to be vintage/antique items according to ebay listings. I saw a Murano glass rooster that looks almost exactly like the ones here and it was going for $45.00. These could be Murano as well but I haven't that much knowledge on the make of these figurines. It is a cardinel in beautiful ruby red glass. Ward and his wife, a sculpture and potter, founded Terra Studios in 1975 and retired in 2007, making his beautiful blown glass gems limited and collectable. This is a cardinal, that measures a petite 2" beak to tail by 3/4" wide and 1 1/2" tallest. It weighs just 2 ounces and is in excellent solid and sturdy condition- no issues that I can find. 2 Older Blown Glass Reindeer Figurines/Christmas Decorations, Germany?
These are two older Circa 1900-1940 blown glass reindeer figurines or Christmas decorations. There is no stamping marks on them but I believe they were from Germany. They measures approx. 4 1/2" long at longest points. 5 1/8" tall at highest points and 1 1/8" wide at bodies. One weighs approx. 75 oz. and one weighs.65 oz. Both deer are in very good condition with no breaks, cracks or chips but both show some scratches and gold finish loss.

Hello here is an antique handblown glass tulip for your consideration. The flower measures approximately 7 inches long and the bud is approximately three quarters of an inch wide by the inch and a half long. The color is white and there are signs of surface soil and dust as seen in the photographs. The stem has a very slight bend and stamped Germany. But is smudged. Antique German Blown Glass Fox Figurine Ornament Mercury?
I have for your consideration an unusual little figurine. Is entirely constructed of hand blown thin glass. Is in the shape of a fox. Has hand painted details. Metallic gold on tail and ears. Has a cork or seal of some type on nose. I searched for comparisons and can only come up with the old mercury ornaments. But this is clear and does not have a metallic coloring to the body. Could the mercury have been removed/leaked or was this not intended as such? If it wasn't I don't understand why the nose apparatus? There was a liquid of some type inside as there are small amounts of an amber colored residue in some places. Well, regardless, this little guy is gorgeous and in fine condition with amazingly no chips or cracks. The legs are so tiny! Ear and feet tips are intact. It is a wonder this has survived for so long. This beautiful little ... moreguy is just over 2 1/2" at the nose and about 3 1/4" in length. He was found with a little silver colored bow around his neck which is no longer intact but could be re-glued if desired. There is a little amount of glue residue still on his neck. Is marked Germany in red on underside of belly.
