This medal is 2 inches long and weighs 20 grams of bronze. It is an original medal from my late mother’s vast estate collection of Catholic Medals(Bertha; the founder of Church-Woman Antiques) Her notes tell us that these are from a lot that washed up on a beach; the patina is typical of similar medals that wash up from Spanish shipwrecks. As these medals have minor metal pitting on their surface. These medals were soaked for months in fresh water, then coral that was stuck to its surface was removed.
