St.Therese of the Child Jesus Lisieux France Relic Medal 1" by 1/2" Silv.Alloy
St.Therese of the Child Jesus& Lisieux. France is the object of this relic from this very great saint. St. Therese was so famous, that they made her a saint very fast, and did not hesitate to get the usual documents together for her to be made a saint in this order. In Fact, St. Therese was also named a Doctor of the Church, of which the Catholic Church does not take lightly. The fact that she was only 24 years old when she died of TB, helps to tell you that she was so popular, and miracles were happening almost immediately that the Church did put this one together so fast because you really don't want to disappoint anyone who is looking for a person to become a saint. St. Therese is also my patron saint, and she had this certain way of saying things that made you want to like her right away. She would talk of doing"little things" ... moreto help further God's name& His devotion to everyone she met. If she felt bad, then she would just pray, and pray harder and offer up her illness to God, and to the poor souls in Purgatory, and to other people if they needed help. She always turned things around so that she was not angry, she would smile if someone made her angry or tried to anyway, as being very faithful and helping people to acknowledge the Our Lord& to pray all the time for peace, knowledge, understanding, patience. She was born 1873 in Alencon, France. From a early age she decided to dedicate herself fully to God& at 16 years old entered the convent of the Carmelite nuns, where 2 of her sisters already lived. On the direction of her superior, she began writing a diary of her childhood which became the Story Of A Soul, which reflects a spirituality characterized by simplicity& Faith in the Love& Mercy of God. She fell ill in 1895& died 2 years later. Protector of Missions. Therese is of Greek or German origin, meaning huntress, in the 2nd meaning it means strong& amiable woman. This is a 3rd Class relic, the relic is free, you are purchasing the medal. Good Luck! Dec

St.Therese of The Child Jesus RELIC Card 4 1/2" x 3" This is in German Language
Relic holy card of St.Therese of the Infant Jesus which this one is done in French. Where St.Therese is from. She lived in Lisieux with the Carmelite nuns since she was 15 years old. She petitioned the Pope to be able to get into the Carmelite Order where her sister also resided in this order. She was frail, and so she could not do as much as the other nuns, so she was denied at first to get into the Order of the Carmelites. But St.Therese did not give up and continued until she saw the Pope& received a special dispensation to be able to enter the order before she was considered a woman. She died at the age of 24, of T.B. her life was short lived, but she kept busy most of the time writing a memoir of her life, which she did partially destroyed because it was suppose to be written to God, and not to the Order, however her superior told ... moreher to do a penance and re-write it so that it could be used after her death. So she did so with a contrite heart. Her"little ways" was very big to both St.Therese& to others who watched in amazement as she never had a bad word against anyone, nor spoke of anyone out of bitterness, rather she would offer up her feelings to God& say that she would give up her consolation of being bitter, or using her pain as an excuse. In fact, most of the order did not know how much pain St.Therese was in because she did not let them aware of it. But offered it up to God for the"poor souls" who needed it the most. She would just politely smile, and knowingly give it to God to do as He pleased with her feelings that most people would react in a negative manner, St.Therese would be very calm, and even smile. She also loved the FACE OF JESUS from the Veronica's Veil, and said that Our poor Lord suffered so much that He looked like a leper and she would still love Him with even greater emotions than she would even let on to anyone that she felt this way. So many times was she tested by Satan, but she did not give into him and just kept saying that she could not wait
