One Laminated Religious card. Roman Catholic Saint John Bosco. An Italian Saint is the Patron Saint of Christian apprentices, editors, publishers, schoolchildren, ... moreyoung people, and juvenile delinquents. Feast Day: Janurary 31st Lived: 1815 to 1888 Beatified: 2 June 1929 Rome by Pius XI Information on Relics: Relic card reads"Ex Induments" which is Latin for"from the clothing" This phrase was originally designated for 2nd Class Relics ONLY as they were from the clothing of the Saints or Blessed individuals; however. Contemporary relic manufacturers have been using the phrase as a way to identify 3rd Class Relics as well. Making it difficult to identify the correct class of Relics. 3rd Class Relics are pieces of cloth. Canvas, or any item that has touched the to a First or Second Class Relic of the Saint the intent that it be a Third Class Relic. In the case of a 3rd Class Relic. The Catholic Church states may be given to individuals and may be sold; unlike the 1st Class Relic which the Catholic Church does not allow the sale of. In the case of the 4th Class Relic, they are are virtually the same as Third Class Relics. The Third Class Relics on the Medals: These are typically what you purchase on a Pilgrimage to a Shrine of a Saint. When you look at the back of a medal and see a small piece of cloth set in red that small piece of cloth is the relic. The outer edge will either have raised lettering or engraving that reads“EX INDUMENTIS” Latin for"touched cloth" You will notice that all of these medals are made in Italy as they are sanctioned by the Vatican. When properly reverenced. Relics are considered to be powerful Sacramentals, in order for this to occur, the Church recommends ALL Relics to be blessed by a Deacon or Priest of the Roman Catholic Church. Relics are NOT to be taken lightly! These are considered precious gifts from our Holy Saints and to be treated with reverence and respect. Dimensions: approximately 3 7/8 inches high by approximately 2 5/16 inches wide Condition: New

First class relic Saint John Eudes
First class relic( ex 0ssibus) of Saint John Eudes. John Eudes was born at Ri. Normandy, France, on November 14, 1601, the son of a farmer. He went to the Jesuit college at Caen when he was 14, and despite his parents' wish that he marry, joined the Congregation of the Oratory of France in 1623. He studied at Paris and at Aubervilliers, was ordained in 1625, and worked as a volunteer, caring for the victims of the plagues that struck Normandy in 1625 and 1631, and spent the next decade giving Missions, building a reputation as an outstanding preacher and confessor and for his opposition to Jansenism. He became interested in helping fallen women, and in 1641, with Madeleine Lamy, founded a refuge for them in Caen under the direction of the Visitandines. He resigned from the Oratorians in 1643 and founded the Congregation of Jesus and Mary(the ... moreEudists) at Caen, composed of secular priests not bound by vows but dedicated to upgrading the clergy by establishing effective seminaries and to preaching missions. His foundation was opposed by the Oratorians and the Jansenists, and he was unable to obtain Papal approval for it, but in 1650, the Bishop of Coutances invited him to establish a seminary in that diocese. The same year the sisters at his refuge in Caen left the Visitandines and were recognized by the Bishop of Bayeux as a new congregation under the name of Sisters of Our Lady of Charity of the Refuge. John founded seminaries at Lisieux in 1653 and Rouen in 1659 and was unsuccessful in another attempt to secure Papal approval of his congregation. But in 1666 the Refuge sisters received Pope Alexander III's approval as an institute to reclaim and care for penitent wayward women. John continued giving missions and established new seminaries at Evreux in 1666 and Rennes in 1670. He shared with St. Mary Margaret Alacoque the honor of initiating devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus(he composed the Mass for the Sacred Heart in 1668) and the Holy Heart of Mary, popularizing the devotions with his"The Devot

In his youth John taught other children their prayers and catechism. Ordained in 1815. Though it took ... moreseveral years of study– he had little education. Was not a very good student. And his Latin was terrible. Assigned as a parochial vicar to Ecully, France. In 1818 he was assigned to the parish of Ars-sur-Formans. France. A tiny village near Lyons, which suffered from very lax attendance. He began visiting his parishioners, especially the sick and poor. Spent days in prayer before the Blessed Sacrament. Did penance for his parishioners, and leading his people by example. Had the gifts of discernment of spirits, prophecy, hidden knowledge, and of working miracles. Tormented by evil spirits. Especially when he tried to get his 2-3 hours of sleep each night. Crowds came to hear him preach. And to make their reconciliation because of his reputation with penitents; by 1855 there were 20.000 pilgrims a year to Ars. Spent 40 years as the parish priest. Born 8 May 1786 at Dardilly. Lyons, France Died 4 August 1859 at Ars. The Vatican only authenticates the relics of saints who lived and died after the 8th century. The relics of saints from the early centuries ... moreof the church are no longer available from Rome. As a result, relics of the early saints and martyrs are difficult to obtain. This relic is a treasure to be honored, and a rare one to find. For private veneration, document is not necessary. Note that the relic is the small dark area in the round or oval theca. The name of the saint is written above or below this area. Most relic particles are pinhead in size and covered with a resin or glue of some sort. Because the particle is so small. And that particle is covered with glue or resin, it is nearly impossible to see with the naked eye what the relic is without looking under a magnifying glass. Furthermore, you are looking at digital pictures that are not the best quality. Most particles look dark, some are light, but most everyone knows this information who are familiar with relics. Seals on the back of thecas are wax, and this wax impression seal is sometimes very clear, at times faint, and other times squeezed/compressed, broken and unrecognizable. Of utmost importance is that the wax seal is either all there or partially there with intact threads holding the seal and backing plate intact. Only the reliquary is for sale

Named in honor of St. Francis of Assisi, was born to Giuseppa and Grazio Forgione, peasant farmers, in the small Italian village of Pietrelcina on May 25, 1887. From his childhood, ... moreit was evident that he was a special child of God. Francesco was very devout even as a child, and at an early age felt drawn to the priesthood. He became a Capuchin novice at the age of sixteen and received the habit in 1902. Francesco was ordained to the priesthood in 1910 after seven years of study and became known as Padre Pio. On September 20. 1918, Padre Pio was kneeling in front of a large crucifix when he received the visible marks of the crucifixion, making him the first stigmatized priest in the history of Church. Saint John Nepomuk Tongue Nepomuk-zunge Czech Relic Amulet Silver Johanneszunge

This amulet represents the tongue of St. John Nepomuk. Who was a Bohemian priest of the 14th century, revered for his refusal to break the seal of the confessional. It was worn to protect against lies, a bad reputation, or malicious rumours.
