This lovely tin bears a reproduction of a wonderful vintage design for Hershey’s Chocolate. Just Pure Milk Chocolate Since 1894” is printed on the tin accompanying a young boy who has taken off a soaking wet boot. He has a Hershey’s bar in his shirt pocket. The tin is undated. Empty, and measures 6 ¾” in diameter and 1 7/8” high. Only very minor surface scratches are found. This is sold as shown with US postage included in the price! For sale is a nice reproduction of an antique double sided brass clock. Advertising a French Restaurant in Paris. This clock is new old stock, from parts stored and recently assembled. The clock body is made of solid sheet brass, and by itself weighs 5 1/2 lbs. The lenses on the two hinged bezels are glass. The clock can rotate on the bracket, for viewing from different angles. Perfect for hallway, kitchen, restaurant, or other location which permits viewing from two sides. The hanging bracket is iron with antique finished redwood supports. Solid brass fittings hold the clock to the wood and iron bracket. Bracket can be attached to the wall with two long screws. The two clock movements are quartz AA battery type, made in USA. Two batteries are included. Beautiful antique patina to the sheet brass case. The clock measures 10 1/4" diameter, ... moreis 7" wide at the front, and projects about 17" from the wall. With a funnel for oil. It has a shade of bubbled glass protected by brass rods. And has a clear inner chimney. The wick is adjustable. The shade can be raised and lowered to service the burner. Brass Ship's Binnacle. Not a reproduction.
This is an old brass binnaclehood/helmet containing a compass. It was bought from theestate of a doctor in the Norfolk. VA area. I don't know its entire history, but I was told that it was salvagedfrom an actual US Naval vessel- I can't personally verify this. The compass is connected onscrews so that it can turn and it is filled with water. The binnacle helmetlooks quite old to me as it has a side compartment for an oil burner/candle,but I'm unsure as to how recent they were made like this. From the research I have done it seems to me that this particular lot is from the late 19th- early 20th century. When I bought this it was as a decoration for my home. This is a beautifully done reproduction of an antique whale tooth scrimshaw. The art work is excellent and it is carved into the piece. One side has the whaling ship"The Comet" with the initials"JAS" The other side has the name"The Comet" under crossed flags with a harpoon. There is an eye on the point and a vertical whale by the flags. The name"D. Hart" is carved into the top edge. The piece is 6" long by 2 1/4" from top to bottom at the flags and it is 1 5/8" thick. VTG.1950's/60's PLASTIC RENWAL "AUTHENTIC REPRODUCTION" VIKING SHIP IN ORIG. BOX
This vintage 1950's/1960's plastic Renwal"Authentic Reproduction" Viking ship is in very good condition with no damage and just minor age/play wear. The gear connecting the wheel and oars is intact. So the oars do move when the ship is pushed along(the box states the ship will float-I haven't tried it, so I can't say for sure it will) The rudder and one of the oar drive bars have been glue repaired(see photo's 8& 9) and eight of the ten oarsmen have broken hands(5 have one broken hand, 2 have two broken hands, 1 oarsman has just one arm, and 2 have no damage-see last three photos) The mast is intact with no damage, but the bottom is slightly bent. Reproduction Brass Telescope Made From Ship Parts From Ship Graveyard
This brass telescope was obtained this year 2013 at a boat show from a dealer who purchased ship parts from a ship graveyard in Europe. Some of the materials were fashioned into this telescope most of which were already old parts. The leather is new but most of the other components are original from cargo liners. This is a wonderful piece. It has some good weight to it. Closed it measures 6 inches and fully extended it's 16 1/2 inches. The lens are good making this a useful item. Ship Boat Maritime Bell Genuine Not Reproduction Beautiful Peal
This bell is the real deal. The peal goes on and on and on so I'm positive this one is made of genuine bell metal bronze which has a significantly higher copper content giving it the genuine bell dark patina. It measures 6 3/8" across the bottom. The only marking I've found is a clearly stamped 12 at the top of the bell. In all the years I've had this bell I have never polished or attempted to"clean it up" It weighs 6-7 pounds so it's no lightweight. FREE shipping applies only to the lower 48 states. Because of the weight of this bell I won't ship THIS item outside the U.S.
