Updated 1902) this is a beautifully detailed, 111-year-old color map of the State of Oregon. It measures about 12 by 16 inches(about 30 by 40 cm. and is in Fine condition. This map is very detailed showing topographical features, counties and townships, cities and villages, routes of old railroads(in red) and more. Elevations are shown with contour lines and indications of feet above sea level. The entire map is surrounded by an engraved border, typical of finer maps of the period. Of historic interest are the numbered townships and ranges from the original territorial land survey, as well as many Indian reservations.
