VERY LGE ANTIQUE MARY GREGORY GREEN GLASS HANDAINTED/HANDBLOWN GLASS JUG-24CM Up for auction is this large sized Mary Gregory antique green glass jug from the 1800's. This piece is made from handblown glass and handpainted and measures approx 24cm high. I brought this piece at an antique auction about 25years ago and it was damged then and I was going to have it repaired and never got around to it. I have just used it for display with my other Mary Gregory pieces and I have just collected too many so have sold a few pieces recently. As you can see in the photos the piece does have cracks and has been repaired. Obviously some time ago. There is a piece broken from the rim and I still have that. Would still look great displayed or you could have it repaired. Hand-blown vases, standing approximately 7 1/4" high, each featuring a different rendering of a frolicking child in the wilderness. Perfectly in tact, no noted damage over the entirety of both pieces. Very nice light cranberry colour indicative of late 19th or early 20th century creation. Polished pontils on bottom, slightly different on each piece. Likely British in origin. A spectacular addition to any antique art glass collection or for resale.

Antique Bohemian Moser Cobalt Blue Glass Casket with Rare Mary Gregory Motif
Stunningly beautiful and elegant antique late 19th century Bohemian. Possibly Moser, glass casket with gold tone metal mounts and handles. The intense, dark cobalt blue colour enhances the white of the enamelled flower garlands decorating the sides. On the lid is a rare type of Mary Gregory motif, depicting two children chasing a frog. Marked"28" in gold inside lid. This casket lacks its lower metal mount on ball feet. It also lacks a key. Some chips mainly to the matte inner bottom edge on one side. Originally covered by the metal mount. Not very noticeable. Otherwise in excellent condition. Including both glass and metal. The hinge is in good order and the lid closes perfectly. This piece has lovely gold painted flowers with an enamel painted scene of a young girl standing amongst flowers and she is holding a flower. Nice. Late 19th century Victorian Cranberry colored, Ruby Flash glass, Mary Gregory His& Hers decanters. Both decanters are double mold and stand almost 11 1/2" tall with stopper in place, and are 8" tall to top of decanter lip. The bottom of each decanter is approx a 4 1/4" dia. One decanter has a young boy dressed in Victorian cloths with a basket. The other decanter is a young girl or woman in Victoria garments holding a chain of flowers? Both are hand painted. Condition of all glass is excellent. The boy decanter has one tiny chip at bottom side(see pic 6- look toward very bottom of boy decanter) with NO other chips. Cracks or marks found. They do need a wash inside also. Original stopper's on both decanters. This is an 11 inch tall Mary Gregory style vase depicting a couple kissing. It was an estate find. So we have no background on it. It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. A great addition to any collection. VINTAGE AND RARE MARY GREGORY GREEN HAND-BLOWN GLASS PITCHER
I am excited to offer this beautiful. Very early Made Mary Gregory Pitcher. It is hand blown and hand painted. The style of the painting and the colored green glass is known as the earlier European style of Mary Gregory glass. The pitcher is 10" high and 3 1/4 in wide on the top with the base about 5 in. width. There are no chips or cracks that I can find. There is however, a mark across the bottom that looks like a crack but I believe it is the pontil trailing off the center where the blown glass ended. I can feel no crack inside or out. Nice Mary Gregory Piece. Was told it was an inkwell. Measures 2 1/2 inches tall and 1 1/4 in each side. It has a small chip on the rim. When looked at under a magnifying glass you can see some darkness on the boy. But for its age I would call in very nice condition. Not sure if its an inkwell or a perfume bottle? Hand blown, hand painted featuring the"girl holding twig" which was one of many Mary Gregory scenes) Next is a cranberry(the most valued of the Mary Gregory colors) teacup also ... morefeaturing the girl holding a twig. It has a small pedestal and handle that originates mid and low on the cup. There is gild around the center of handle. Pedestal, and rim. Condition: Both are in great shape. The barbers bottle is minus the topper(not all that uncommon these days) there is a small rough area(flea bites) on the upper neck(~ ½" area) There are many small bubbles but those are trapped in the glass during creation. NO cracks or chips. The enameled artwork is double fired emphasizing critical areas(e.g. the girl. Hair, collar, etc) The blown glass pontil remains under the base. There are some specks on the inside as this bottle likely saw use in a barbers shop. The teacup has much of the gild rubbed off due to age. However there are No cracks or chips. Up for auction is this RARE Hand Blown Amethyst Mary Gregory Bed Side Glass Tumble-up Water Pitcher and Tumbler from the 1800's. Overall great condition with No chips. Cracks or hairlines still has great decoration with an Amethyst hue to the Mary Gregory decoration. I have always been told that these are called tumble-ups it is a water pitcher or decanter made to have the tumbler flipped upside down on top of the decanter to keep the fly's or bugs out at night and when you need a drink you just pour it drink it and put the tumbler back on top again. These where very popular during the mid 1800's to the early 1900's. This is one of the best Tumble-ups I have ever owned or seen it has the great Mary Gregory design on the decanter and the tumbler as you can see in the photo 1 design is of the boy the other is of the young girl ... moreboth with trees around them very detailed workmanship. The glass is a very fine thin hand blown glass with a deep pontil mark as shown in the photos and the tumbler has a very smooth flat bottom. The total height with the tumbler on the decanter is 7 3/8" tall the decanter only is 6 1/2" tall by 3 3/4" at the widest and the tumbler is 3 1/2" high by 2 1/2" wide. The vase is Victorian c1870-1880 and are quite possibly Czech in origin. It is an example of what is known as"Mary Gregory" glass- colored glass with white enamel work depicting images of children. It measures 6.5 inches tall and has a pontil mark to the base. Condition is good with no cracks or breakages but you will see there is one large nibble to the rim and various tiny knocks. This 3 inch clear glass eight paneled mug appears to either be a souvenir or a gift as it is engraved Gordon Asbury Park 1895 on the back. Excellent condition and quality decoration of a boy in a field with pink accents on his coat. There are rough spots on the inside of the rim you can find with a fingernail but totally unnoticeable and were probably from the grinding process. There is also a spot just below the rim which looks like a chip; it is actually a remnant of the gold rim.
