Vintage Sargent Brass Door Hardware Lock Fancy Knobs Matching Plates Deadbolt
There are many images so please scroll down to view them. This auction is for a Sargent brass door hardware set. It consists of the mortise lock which is marked Sargent on the side and also on the key section of the lock. It is the deadbolt type. The plates and door knobs are all matching with the inside plate and knob being smaller than the outside. The outside plate is 10 1/2" tall x 2 7/8" approx and inside 7 3/8" x 2 3/8" The plates are the thin pressed brass. The screw for the large knob is with it I failed to image it as it was loose. The deadbolt will not turn it could be froze up. There is no key with it. I have not cleaned it but think it will polish up nicely. 2 MATCHING VINTAGE BRASS COPPER ? DECOR DOOR KNOBS NICE PATINA
These are old door knobs. They came off the same door, one has a red copper looking patina, the other has a yellower brass like patina. They came out of my parents home which was built in the 20's, my mother doesn't remember when they were installed. It could have been the 40's or 50's. Don't know what they are made of. A magnet is attracted to them, they don't look like they are plated so they might have a steel core with brass or copper over them? They are just very nice looking old door knobs. I took pictures from different angles to try and capture the colors.

Looks like brass– though one of the door knobs is more silver-colored than gold, see photos, so it seems that the material may vary from one to the other. Two of the sets have connecting hardware. The other two door knobs have screws but no metal bar. All match with beautiful circular detailing on the knob!

Hi. This is a 5 day auction on a very nice set of old glass door knobs with the shafts. They are approx. 2" wide@ widest point. Please note* Of the 10 sets. 5 with shafts are stuck on the knobs on one side only. Five are not stuck at all. This should be OK, as the 5 that I cannot remove the shafts from are already set for use on the lock sets that will be used, then simply add the other knob. One( as pictured) has either a light colored brass, or is perhaps nickle steel. All the knobs, except 2, have the hard to find brass set screws. Two have allen type screws in them. There are 3 extra knobs, one is a larger& different type glass knob, that will need to be re-drilled& re-threaded. The 2 other extra ones have no screws.
