Great Antique Primitive Metal Scoop– Very Unique! This is an antique primitive metal scoop with riveted handle. The shape is quite unique; if fact. I’ve never seen anything like it and talk about patina…it’s primo. At the base of the scoop. There are two holes, but for what purpose, I have no idea. If someone knows the purpose of these holes, I'm very curious to know what they are. The only true flaw I see other than just age is a small crease in the top part of the scoop. You’ll probably be able to tell more just by looking at my pictures; I have used the maximum number. A very unique creation made from old water buffalo bone disks and one large antique solid sterling silver bead from China. The bead is 57 mm long and weighs 23 grams. I have strung the necklace to have the bead assymetrically placed. But any change can be easily made. The bone disks are quite rare and difficult to find. It has crude stamp work and dedicated wear. It is not signed or marked in anyway. I do not believe it is sterling. It does not attract to magnet. It might be german silver. It is solid material and difficult to bend. Measures 1 1/2 inches at the widest point. Inside tip to tip is 6 inches with an additonal 1 1/2 inch gap. Weight is 73 grams. This is a neat old primitive item! It is an antique washboard called the"Flyer Silver" I'm not sure if that's a brand name or model. Sadly. There is a knot in the wood that goes through the word Flyer, but I think that makes it more rustic looking. There is some surface rust. But it can be removed(I removed some of it to make sure) I would call the condition typical for it's age. I have not put much effort into cleaning it. As some people prefer the rusty patina. The 11 Conchas and Butterflies are thick, heavy, and very well worked with old style Stamping and Repousse work. While the 6 Conchas and 5 Butterflies are very traditional for a classic Third Phase Concho Belt, The Belt Buckle is quite remarkable in its bold style and complimentary but distinctive look. It is the Gem Grade Turquoise Stones that get may attention! They look like they are natural stones and have great matrix and color. I can only guess what mine they may have been unearthed from. They look hard and glassy on the surface and I'll bet they were hand formed and polished. I guess I'm in a guessing mood because I can only speculate on how old this Concho Belt is. Based on the style and the method in which the Buckle was made. I believe it is Sterling Silver and not Coin Ingot. It may not be as old as the Ebay listing category of pre 1935 suggests. The decorative symbols certainly look like runes or other early alphabetic symbols. The form is a slightly concave oval. With ragged edges. At the centreis a goup of conjoined symbols. Three small fish swim around the border. All the ornamentation is in low relief on a stipple textured background. The back has a smooth finish and the whole piece is goldwashed. Fairly bright in colour. The brooch measures 1 5/8 inches across and 1 1/4 inches tall. It fastens with a straight pin and secure rolling catch. The only stamp is 800. Leaf Pin Brooch Silver Primitive Vintage Handmade? Blue Rhinestones
This is one of those head scratchers. It's a gorgeous pin. Featuring two well defined leaves and 4.blossoms? Some sort of dangly thingies with pretty blue rhinestones. Actually, they're not technically dangly thingies as they do not move. The front of the brooch/pin looks very detailed and fine, but on the back, it is easy to assume that this piece is hand-made and not from a mass producer. The stems and dangly thingies are applied to the back in a very unrefined manner, but the pin itself is quite refined looking. The pin on the back is nice and straight but has discoloration along its length. It slips into a very primitive C clamp. I have no clue what the metal is. It's silverish in color. Shinier on the back and darker, less shiny on the front. The rhinestones are brilliant, well faceted and clean. The pin measures nearly 2" ... moreacross and 1 7/8" from stem to lowest dangly bit. It's just a cool piece and I wish I knew who to credit for its creation.

Antique Primitive Silver Double Ornate Handles Tea Strainer & Bowl Vintage Chic
This is an antique silver tea strainer from an estate sale. The yellow coloring is a reflection from the lighting. But there is some tarnishing. There are no identification marks on this beauty, so I will describe it the best I can. It has two handles, one on each side of the strainer bowl, making it a total of 5&1/2" from tip to tip. These handles are very ornate with a cut work design. This is all one molded piece. The drip bowl is 1&1/2" deep and 2&1/4" across the top. The strainer fits snugly in this bowl. There is lots of patina on this pretty piece, but I am not an expert on anything, so I will leave the cleaning to the experts. This is for the strainer& bowl ONLY. This is an item that I bought new probably 25-35 years ago. It is very finely crafted and is a highly polished sterling silver. The image is of a cat's face(can't tell what kind of cat) that looks to be derived from the old petroglyphs in primitive caves. It has a built-in bale(holes at the sides. Just under the ears) It is unmarked, but tests for sterling silver. It weighs 9.7 grams or.34 ounce. It is 1 1/4" tall and 5/8" wide and about 3/8" thick or deep. No chain is included. The holes are large enough to string leather, cord, almost any silver chain or neck ring.

I think the metal might be sterling silver that has darkened over time. Wide pin– 2 ½” x 1 ¼” The pin part is missing. I think the metal might be copper as it has hints of red. Both of these pins have stones in them. But I am unsure if they are crystals or diamonds…very dull in appearance though. The patina is wonderful on both of these. On the doors you can see that the hinges are screwed on the outside. It's a old cabinet and a nice size. Vintage. Rustic silver and wood cup. I do not know if the metal is sterling silver or not, as there are no markings. I does not feel like tin or chrome or silverplate, however. The piece bears only rustic and rather primitive markings. Measures 4 1/4 inches tall, and 2 inches across at the top, and is substantial, weighing 6.9 ounces. I've taken photos in both natural light and with a flash to help with viewing the details, but it looks lmore ike the flash photos in terms of colors. If you know anything about this cup, I'd appreciate learning more. Seems like a great collectible!
