This horn has a new Getzen factory replacement leadpipe(installed at Kingston Winds) as the other one was beyond repair. Chem clean. Dent work, new amado keys, and alignment. This horn does come with the original case as well. As you can see by the pictures the horn has some contact wear and also a lot of small scratches are present throughout the instrument. I know these are incredibly popular cornets and command quite a price in the marketplace. I had one recently that sold for a smidge over $1000. This one is a great player, not so fantastic looker. The New Amsterdam Silver Co. was founded in the late 1800s and in 1904, it was renamed as Knickerbocker Silver Co. This is a fine example set for the silver plate collector. Both pieces are clearly marked underneath and numbered'605' Each piece is monogrammed with what looks like the letter'O' I can't tell for sure. The sugar measures 3.25" high(to top of handle) and 3" across the mouth. The creamer is 3.25" high and 3" across the mouth. Condition is fair to good- both pieces have issues and each has dents(please see photos) also the creamer has plate loss on the interior, hence the low price. VINTAGE ENGLISH SILVER PLATE 4 ARM EPERGNE CENTERPIECE FLOWER VASE FROG Search Up for auction is a Vintage epergne with 4 glass inserts. The only mark on the bottom is Made in England so we don't know the maker. The epergne stands just under 12 inches tall with a spread of 10.5 inches from outer edge of each epergne. The glass horns are in near perfect condition with no cracks in the class. One horn has a very tiny chip on the end which is inserted into the holder. Each horn is 6 inches long and 2.75 inches wide at the rim. The silver plate base shows ware as can be seen but still a great epergne. I nsurance is included in the cost of shipping. This is part of an award from SHELL OIL COMPANY. It consisted of an engraved glass award mounted to a wooden base. The based had this heavy solid sterling silver marquee engraving plate/ plaque that was made by TIFFANY& COMPANY MAKERS around 1998. Sadly the glass got chipped so we removed this piece of silver from the base. We will include the 4 original screws so this can be remounted on a piece of wood. Like a frame, base, box or what ever. I believe the screws are sterling silver as well. This IS engraved but NOT too deeply so if someone wanted to resuse this, the engraving could be buffed away& then it could be re-engraved. Buffing out a monogram on flatware is fairly common so ... morethis would not be hard to do by a jewelry store or silversmith/ engraver. We would preserve the Tiffany Hallmarks on the lower right corner as shown below. Or one could flip this over and engrave the blank side. This is in Excellent, with some light surface wear/ micro scratches. One can see the slight mirror like reflection of our camera in one of the photos below. This is about 5 3/4" long x 2 1/4" wide& its about as thick as a dime. On our postal scale which IS NOT a jewelry scale this weighs 3.1 ounces. That about 88 grams. If we add the screws in that adds a few more grams. We do not know but Tiffany and Company MIGHT be able to buff out the engraving if not they certainly can engrave the reverse side for a slight fee. William M Rogers. Silver Serving Plate, engraved on the back is the logo WM Rogers surrounded by an eagle(left side) and a star(right side) see the last picture for the complete logo. Also on the back is the#162. Research online shows that this logo was used by smithing companies from the late 1800's until around 1939, so this is certainly an antique. Good used(Antique) condition. Outer edges of this platter looks really good with mimimal wear, center of platter shows quit a bit of scratches and marks from years of use. Back shows some scratching as well.
