First is a relic card from the Vatican containing a piece of vestement he wore while pope, and sealed by the Postular General, Rome OFM. It measures 4 1/2" x 2 3/4" Blessed Pope John 23 will be canonized in Rome on April 27, Divine Mercy Sunday. The golden medal is made of gilded bronze. And measures 1 1/4" in diameter, excluding the bail. On the front is a portrait of Pope John 23 in high relief, and the latin words, Pont. Max.
