RARE antique 1500s handmade religious Saint Philip Neri blood relic pendant org
This is an extremely rare late 16th century handmade blood relic of Saint Philip Neri pendant. It has a very detailed handmade silver casing with dimensional swirled edges and a wonderful patina from age. it also has its original 16th century red wax seal still located on the back of the pendant. The relic is very well made and under a beveled octagon shaped piece of glass. it has his name written on the bottom with a drop of his blood in the center and a piece of his linen in the background. it is nicely styled with gold ora around the blood and nice metal thread trimming the bottom. it is in nice antique shape and extremely rare. measures 1 1/2 inches long by 1 1/8 inches wide. For sale is a early pendant although sadly it is missing the relic that once was inside. It depicts St Anne on the front and the St Anne De Beaupre basilica on the back. This is an antique reliquary of Monseigneur Louis-Zephirin Moreau. He was a Roman Catholic Priest and Bishop in Cananda. He was born on April 1. 1824 and died on May 24, 1901. This pendant is lined with red fabric on the inside and has a small square of fabric mounted on it. It probably came from Mgr. Moreau's robe or other article of clothing. On a small piece of paper inside it is printed with"Mgr. Moreau" It is in a brass setting. I did not open this piece up. It measures 1 1/3" tall not including the bail. It is in good condition. There is a small spot of silver solder stuck to the upper right side of the decorative border, see photos. It comes from a smoke free home. Someone cut the strings, and took the relic apart… the wax and the strings are still intact, but they're not threaded through the frame. There are 3 relics in this pendant: St. Emelian M, St. Crescent II M and St. Donati(Donatus? M. From what I can tell, the relics are still intact. This is a stunning antique 18th century handmade bronze saint relic pendant. it has its original wax seal that is visible when the back part of the bronze relic is removed. it is a bit worn and cracked but extremely old. the relic has the name of the saint written on a very small piece of paper and has a piece of real skin and linen backing under the glass. the casing is completely handmade and hammered from bronze and has a circular hook at the top to be able to wear as a charm. it has a wonderful patina from age and measures 1 1/8 inches by 3/4 inches. there are some very small dings but is very old. For sale is a 1 1/8" tall silverplated pendant that holds a relic of Saint B. Conradi a Parzham. Staint Conrad of Parzham. Relic is a piece of cloth and is surrounded by a gold thread. According to other sites Saint Conrad of Parzham. O.F.M. Cap. 1818-94) was a German Franciscan lay brother. The glass of the pendant is loose and needs to be re-glued. I do not know the history of this piece. Appears to be in good condition for it's probable age. Some wear to the plating along the edges of the back and the glue for the glass face has come loose. Found this antique relic cleaning up. Not sure if it was my grandma's or moms. It is a lovely small brass pendant. One side is a brass relief of Mary, the other side has a glass window and displays a piece of white or light beige fabric, helt by a tiny piece of paper that says handwritten in pencil(is quite faded, but can still be read) Pius IX" Pius IX was pope from 1846 to 1878. The pendant I would assume is from the late 1800s to early 1900s. Size: Slightly over 1" high(plus hanger) x a little under 1" wide and 1/4" deep. Condition: Good antique condition. Up for auction is this relic of Saint Frances Xavier Cabrini. It is encased in a gold toned pendant medal. The medal is about 3/4" by 1" and in is the shape of a flower. When closed. It shows only a flower. When open. one side shows a likeness of the saint with a blue background. The other side is the relic itself. This is a piece of clothing worn by Mother Cabrini during her lifetime. Around the relic are the words"Relic, St. Frances Cabrini. It is in its original Cellophane wrap from where it was assembled in Italy. Included is a 38 page book of biography and prayers. Mother Cabrini did much of her work and died in Chicago. My mother was a member of the The Cabrini League that promoted devotion to the saint. She received medals like this to distribute to followers.

Eymard Relic Theca ossibus Pendant Certificate 1925 Vintage Reliquary Antique
Truly beautiful item. Please look carefully at the pictures for the detail to the piece. I tried to translate the certificate online. But please forgive any errors as it may not be exact. I did take a picture of the online translation and included it. An amazing, important piece, and I'll let all of the pictures speak for themselves. Certificate is the original and not a copy, the imprint of the border is raised on the back side of the paper. Some pictures were with flash, others were not, so note the following. Theca is silver in color, I left the original patina and did not polish it, with gold colored interior accents on/in the case and gold paper accents behind and rimming the white paper inside. Certificate paper is slightly yellowed as seen in some pictures and not a white color that may show in other pictures with a flash where ... morethe color is washed out. The stamp in the lower left corner is light but visible. I will gladly send more pictures upon request. St. Peter Julian Eymard. 1811-1868, was a French Catholic priest, founder of two religious institutes, and a canonized saint.
