Here's a pair of antique. Victorian-era, recessed pocket door pulls in very good condition. They are made of cast bronze and are original, unpolished, and just as they were when they were removed. These handles date back to around 1885 and were made by the Norwalk Lock Company and have the numbers 08844 stamped on the backs. Each measures 2 1/16 inches wide, 5 3/4 inches tall, and 1/2 inch deep. Once cleaned up, these authentic Victorian pocket door pulls will be gorgeous! This lot includes 4 metal Victorian Style antique pocket door handles. Beautiful detail on the face frame of the handles. The face plate measures 3 3/4" L x 1 1/2" W. The exposed metal that would sit on top of the door is 1/8" Thick. So if you want to know if your door will slide though the pocket. You need to add 1/8" on each side of the door(if you use 2) The back plate that inserts into the wood measures 2 1/4" L x 1" W with a projection of 7/16" The 7/16" is the portion that goes into the door. The portion that you insert your fingers into the grab and side the door measures 2 1/2" L x 7/8" W x 1/2" D. Condition. These are metal. Not sure if they are all brass. Magnets do NOT stick to them. This is for a very nice H&D mfg co.pocket door hardware set with key.Its a beautiful complete set in excellent working condition.Made by hopkins and dickinson it has a patent date of 1873 making it 141 years old and still as solid as it was when it was made.Finely crafted it features a eastlake style floral design and bronze finish.One mortise has a convex faceplate and the other a concave so that fit together perfectly when closed and add extra strength when locked. Although i don't have the original screws from this set I do have bags of screws from this period so if someone really wanted them I could provide them. Antique Victorian Pocket Door Pull Set Bronze Cast Iron Yale & Towne Y&T 8 inch
Included are 4 pocket door pulls. I believe they are Bronze but could be the back is Cast Iron. Please see and enlarge all photos and decide for yourself. They are about 7 7/8" long. About 2 1/4" wide and about 1/4" deep. They are made by Yale& Towne and have the Y&T inside a clover on the back of each plate. For condition, please look at all the photos and enlarge them as that is the best way to describe these. These are dirty and I have not tried to clean them- will leave that to the winner. I will ship Priority Mail the next day after payment from my smoke and pet free home.
