Here is a lot of a few door parts. There is a glass knob of a beautiful purple amethyst I tried to capture but not well. It has a light scratch and shallow chip about 1/8" diameter as shown. Offered is the pictured very nice purple/clear glass door knob and brass plate. Both knobs are chip and crack free. The small set screw on the purple knob is not in the best shape and if you wish to remove that knob(which is not required for installation) you will most likely need to replace that screw. The two are slightly different in size and color but are both approximately 2.25" in diameter and 6" when tightly applied to a door. They show some wear but it's minor and hardly noticeable. There is still a piece of the door they were originally attached to that's in the middle.which is yours without charge. Currently. Unusual Vintage Spiral Sun Purple Brass Door Knob Amethyst Glass Crystal Star Burst I love these old door knobs! I had the privilege of growing up a house with these types of knobs and I always loved their uniqueness. This one is unusual as it's not your typical smooth round or paneled knob. The outside of the handle is swirled with a round flat top and when you look inside. You see a star burst. Beautiful purple color. The fittings are brass and some residue(awful) green paint remains on parts of it. There is quite a bit of rust to the metal piece that would slide into the door. I've heard that using Coke will remove rust from metal, but I've never tested that. Regardless, it's a lovely piece of vintage glass and a glimpse back to a time when things were made from quality materials and craftsmanship was important. The total ... morelength is about 5" from top of handle to the end of the metal piece. The center of the knob when you look directly into it is a flat. Round circle. There is some slight chiggering on the circle. I saw this a magnifying glass and it's not something that would be easily detected. The rest of the knob is perfect. It's 2" in diameter and 2.25" over-all length. The brass hardware has a beautiful patina. On a 1~10(w/ 1 being the lightest) I would put the color at a 2~4 in depth. It has a round threaded hole with set screw for the shaft. Condition: I cannot see any chips or scratches.

These knobs appear to be clear glass at first glance, but catch them at any angle in the light and they are in fact a purple amethyst tinted color!
