Corbin is on mortise box and P. F. Corbin 1888 or 1883 is stamped on the face of the lock bolt. HARVARD is stamped on the top edge of the latch face. High quality machining and function. Complete except for key and in perfect working condition. Has two large high quality cylinder locks. Latch face measures 1 5/16" x 8 5/16" Mortise box measures 4 1/16" deep. 5 7/8" tall and 15/16" thick. Uses a 1/4" spindle. The mortise latch is complete with working skeleton key. The face has the old black and gold finish. The handles have had some paint removed. They have a simple clear finish on the antiqued beaded surface. They measure 2 1/2" long and 1 5/8" wide. The 5 knuckle hinges measure 3 1/2" square plus the ball finials. Quality Antique Exterior Lock Set mortise latch in excellent condition circa approx. 1890. Solid cast bronze. The latch is signed on the dead bolt with a great intertwined N and B with MFG CO. Not sure who this maker is. Mortise latch face measures 1" x 6 5/8" Mortise box measures 3 1/2" deep. 4 3/4" tall and 5/8" thick. Latch is in excellent working condition. There is a big chip out of the underside on one of knobs.The same knob have some chips out of the face also. look closely to the pictures) Nicks and scratches present to both knobs. Surface rust is present. Scratches, rubs are present from use and lack of storing them proper. The door latch I do not know if all functions work. The knob part does. The mortise plate is 6 1/8" long and 1" wide. The mortise is 2 5/8" deep. 4 1/4" long, and 5/8" wide. The hole for the shaft is 2" to the center from the plate and 7/8" to the center from the top.
