Lot of three(3) sets of Antique Victorian Style Door Knobs with back plates and lock mechanism. Two sets have oval shaped brass knobs with lock mechanisms. The other set has brass knobs and cast/metal back plates with no lock mechanism. Oval knobs are approx. 3" long x 1 3/4" wide. Door Plates are approx. 8" long x 2" wide. One plate has some paint on it but I have been told it could easily be cleaned off. We will leave that to the buyer. Please view photos as part of the description. Penn Antique Restoration. 2 avail. Vintage Art Deco Door Set Glass Knobs Plate Lock Key. Lovely. Vintage lockset made around the turn of the previous century. Each set consists of 2 glass knobs, 2 stamped iron escutcheons, 1 iron mortise lock with 1 working key, 1 steel strike plate for the door jamb, and 1 spindle with 2 setscrews. The majority of the brass plating wore away over the years leaving the surfaces of the parts with a nice, distressed finish. At the point of salvage. All parts were painted, dirty, and unevenly tarnished(see last photo) Since then, we've removed the paint, and cleaned and polished all parts. The sets are in great shape with only a few small nicks and scratches here and there. Otherwise. There are no breaks, cracks, chips, scratches, or gouges. Each lock was opened. Antique Art Deco Brass & Crystal Glass Rosette Door Knobs Handle Locks
Beautiful set of clear glass/crystal and brass door knobs and lock. This is in overall good condition. With no chips or cracks. There are some paint residue marks on some of the glass, should easily clean up. There are 2 crystal knobs, and they are attached to the lock set. Very nice for anyone doing any remodeling. They measure about 2" high by 2" in diameter.

The clear glass are brass and the white glass are steel. All of the locks and key covers are steel. Yellow magnet sticking to brass plated lock. Glass is good, no chips or cracks. Large Lot 23 Antique Glass Door Knobs Locks Mortise Brass Face Plates Latches
Please use the Supersize Feature on our pictures at the top and below the description as we consider them to be a very important part of our auctions- our photos show great detail and they are about the next best thing to"being there" Here is a big lot of vintage clear glass door knobs. Threaded spindles, back plates, mortise locksets, strike plates, and a fair amount of brass screws in a few different sizes and shapes. They only thing not included in this collection are the Skeleton Keys for the locksets. As with most antique hardware and knobs, these pieces have old white paint on them.some just a spot or two, others a a full brush stoke. The paint is easy to remove from the knobs and the face plates. One of the glass knobs has some surface scratches on the end of the knob, otherwise eggsellent condition with no chips or cracks. ... moreA couple of the brass face plates and rosettes might have a dint or minor dent- nothing major, but noted for accuracy. There are a total of 23 antique clear glass door knobs and a single old hollow metal door knob. I was able to assemble 7 complete door knob sets. One set has been finished in chrome on one side and has matching hardware(a strike plate. Latch and rosette face plate, all in silver with silver screws) Two of the connector loops on the actual latch mechanisms are bent and need repair or replacement. The door knob sets that I put together include the following parts: 2 glass door knobs( 2 of the door knobs are missing one brass tightening screw each) a threaded spindle with latch mechanism in the middle a door latch a strike plate to match 2 brass rosette face plates for the knobs 8 screws. 4 rounded smaller ones for the rosettes& 4 flat top brass screws for the latch and strike plates There is a large door knob and lockset that I pieced together– I am not sure if I put it together right. 48 Vintage / Antique Glass and Brass Door Knobs Plus 3 Locks
Up for auction are 48 very nice vintage glass door knobs. All of them appear to be the same pattern in the glass and about the same size. Which is about 2" in diameter. These knobs are all in good condition with no chips or cracks in the glass. They all seem to be brass with the exception of a couple which are steel and somewhat rusted. The connecting rods are also steel and show rust. There are also 3 locks included. These knobs and locks are"as found" and have not been cleaned in any way, so expect to see some paint spots, rust, tarnish, wear, and missing set screws here and there. It appears that most all of them will clean up nicely. I have provided plenty of pictures, so use the zoom feature and look at them closely before bidding. 3 Complete Sets Vintage Metal Door Knobs Plates Locks Marked WB No Keys
You are bidding on a Vintage Lot of Lock Sets. There are three sets in this lot. They are all metal. They look like they came off a 1 3/4 to 2 inch thick door. The plates measure 2 5/8 X 8 inches. There is a 1 X 2 1/4 inch area where the plates extend out near the lock. That side is marked with a WB. The other side has an area that the plate extends 1 7/8 X 2 1/4 inches. They are all key entry locks with NO KEYS. Good Luck!

This is a rare 100 year old package up for auction. We've been in the demolition business since may 2004. Salvaging on average between 150-200 houses per year. We have an extremely large amount of antique hardware of all kinds that is slowly being sold on this site. In all of our projects we have only come across these particular sets one time. Even throughout this site there are very few"antique" Sargent& Co. items. If what other sellers on here are asking just for the Sargent mortise locks are the average price. Then what i am offering is a bargain. Anyway. Included in this package are: 4(2 sets of) octagon glass door knobs. All have been cleaned from any dirt or paint and are in decent condition with no chips. There are a couple of minor scratches that i've tried to highlight in the last 2 pics. What makes these so ... morerare is that they are rounder at the top. Where as most are flat. 2 Sargent& Co.Easy Spring mortise locks.each measure at 4 3/8" long x 3 1/8" wide. They have a brass face that measures at 6 9/16" long. 4 solid brass Sargent& Co. back plates.each measure at 7 1/8" long x 2 1/2" wide. 2 solid brass strike plates(much thicker and heavier than the average plate)each measure at 4 1/4" long x 1 1/8" wide and 1 13/16" at the widest part. included as well are the original slot head screws.all but the biggest 4 are brass.
