Both knobs are in good condition with no dents. As far as I can tell the knobs are made of steel not brass or copper. There is some light rust or corrosion on the knobs nothing terrible but its there. The back plates are also in good condition with out dents or twists again some light rust and are 6" long and 2" wide at the widest. The latch moves freely but I don't know about the lock as I have no key. A pair each for doors 3/4 and 1-1/2" thick, with knobs 2-1/4 and 1-7/8" in diameter. one of the small sets has a nickel finish and the other 3 have brass finishes) Pair of 2-1/4" knobs on 4" three-piece shaft. two different pairs of matching 2-1/4" knobs(loose) with stippled band and stepped profile. One pair of 2-1/4" knobs with stippled band and smooth profile Three other loose knobs as pictured. 10 2-1/4 by 7" plates for mortise style latch and lock sets. A few are made of solid brass. Antique Vintage Clear Cut Glass Cabinet Knobs Set of 8 with latch mechanism.
These are not your run-of-the-mill average cabinet knobs. There are 7 compete sets and 1 incomplete set. 1 set is not complete because it is missing the spring that goes inside the tubular mechanism. These are all vintage/antique knobs. All knobs are matching and have 6 sides. The top of the glass knobs have been finely made and cut/polished to a shinny flat surface. Deep down inside the center of the glass knob is a silvery colored back plate. I don't know what it is actually made of. The glass knob is set in brass and has an oval brass backplate. It comes with the tubular latch mechanism. I took a picture of the parts of the tubular mechanism to show what the parts entail. The glass knob measures 7/8" wide. It is 7/8" deep from the top of the glass knob to(and including the brass back plate) The glass knobs are all in very ... moregood condition with no cracks. Chips or major scratches. The glass knobs are shinny and show very little wear except for the tarnished brass parts and the silvery plate at the bottom of the glass knob. See pictures. Brass Door Knob & Latch Assembly Fancy Embossed Knobs
I am offering a brass door knob with a fancy design embossed on it. The latch assembly works and it is in good condition. But I have no keys to tell if the locks work. The large trim plate is brass and fits the latch. The smaller trim plates are metal and they are for a smaller style latch. The knobs are in good condition one has two small dents in it and both have moderate toning.

SARGENT 1886 door latch/lock with Brass faceplate. Black porcelain knobs
Old fancy door fixture made by SARGENT& Co. with 1885 and 1886 patent dates. Double key lock feature. All the fancy metal pieces are brass. Porcelain knobs are black but not a perfect match. One(with the broken section) looks to be smaller diameter but thicker porcelain. It also is has some spots where the porcelain did not flow but that is on the back side and unseen when installed. What you see in the photos is what I have. I do know there would have been a square shaft for the knobs but it is gone. The set screws that would retain the knobs to the square shaft are also missing. One metal part on a knob has a piece missing. Other than that I don't know what all. If anything, is missing or broken. Please see the photos for further description and for what is in this auction. The latch/lock unit has the square hole for the knob shaft ... moreand another smaller square hole that will still operate the latch even when the knobs are locked. The exposed plate attached to the mechanism is fancy cast brass. The large faceplate with it is fancy stamped brass and has the hole for the knobs and for the two key holes. It has some green corrosion on the back. There is a smaller stamped brass keyhole plate also. The latch works with the knobs and also by rotating the smaller square hole. The latch can be locked by sliding a small piece which is on the fancy edge of the mechanism. This locks the knobs but not the smaller square hole. I do not know if the main lock works since I do not have a key or maybe there were two keys? Ask any questions before bidding. Fresh from an estate sale. Antique brown swirl doorknobs cast iron plates rusted together. These are a very old pair of brown swirl, possibly Bennington doorknobs. They need to be soaked in naval jelly or rust remover gone separated. One doorknob has chipping towards the bottom on both sides as seen in my photos. VINTAGE GLASS FLUTED ? DOOR KNOBS - DOOR PLATES & LATCH PIECE
Vintage/ antique door knob set. I don't know how old these are and I couldn't find any name as to a maker. The glass door knobs are approximately 2" across. One is clear and the other has a pale amber color to it. The one that is more amber in color has two chips to the top edge- one is about 1/2" and the other 1/4" both are located right on the edge and there's a much smaller chip also. These are fluted and have 12 sides. The metal part is maybe copper with a reddish brown finish near the knob and where the screw fits. All pieces where put together when I got this and I took them apart for the pictures and they will remain apart. There is a heavy metal piece that would go inside the door and measures approximately 3 1/4" x 3 3/4" x 1/2" and has a key hole in it. Antique Door Lock Box Lock With Porcelain Knobs This antique door lock comes with its key. Keeper and escutcheon plate. It is in good condition and all authentic. Not a reproduction lock! It features 1 white porcelain door knob and 1 black knob. Its made from cast iron which was cleaned and restored in order to preserve it. Both the lock and privacy latch work smoothly. The porcelain door knobs are in good condition too. With some minor wear to the white knob, and the black knob having a thin hairline that does not seem to jeopardize the integrity or looks of the knob. The box portion of the lock measures 4 and 1/8 by 3 and 1/4 inches wide and 3/4 deep.
