1880's Solid Cast 3/4 pound door knob set with matching embossed Design
From an 1881 home in the Catskill Mountains This Door Knob set was taken off one of the three doors opening into the Parlor. They were the original knobs and are at least 130 years old. Cast from iron and displaying a deep Galic design. These door knobs are solid, heavy and will last at least another few hundred years. These knobs were refurbished. Approx. two years ago, to the original residual colors still evident at the time. Use these door knobs for your Kitchen. Antique/Vintage Black Bakelite Door 4-Knob Set
This auction is for an Antique/Vintage Black Bakelite Door 4-Knob Set with center post. Four ornate back plates and appropriate securing screws. This 4-knob set is in very good condition for it's age which would be late 1800s- early 1900s. Two of the knobs show wear that has gone through the top black color into the white under color. Easy to fix. The back plate design looks like a very stylized floral pattern- perhaps geometric design. There are three screw securing holes. It measures 1-7/8" in diameter and has a round center hole of 7/16" diameter. What a great set for an older home going through restoration. Thanks for viewing. Good luck bidding.

Vintage, interior door locksets made by, Norwalk Lock Co. of Norwalk, CT sometime during the first half of the previous century. Each set consists of 2 glass knobs with brass shanks, 2 stamped brass escutcheons, 1 iron mortise lock with brass faceplate and 1 working key, 1 brass plated steel strike plated for the door jamb, and 1 steel spindle with 2 setscrews to connect the knobs. All brass parts are solid, brass, not plated steel. The shank of one knob. One plate, and the faceplate of one lock are chrome plated. These chrome-plated pieces make up the ... more4th, privacy, lockset. This set does not use a key, instead, the lock is engaged by turning the thumbturn on the chrome-plated escutcheon. This is a good set to install on a bathroom door. The locks are reversible and could accommodate the swing of any door. The sets were salvaged from Northwestern Ohio. At the point of salvage. Vintage SCHLAGE Brass Door Knob Set w/ Plates, Locking Mechan 4 Keys Mid Century
This is a really nice door nob set. Schlage brand. Lots of great patina on this set. With some polishing from use of the handle. Solid, heavy brass. All the parts are shown in one of the photos, includes 4 good keys, one is the original! The set looks to be late 1950s, or maybe 1960s. Hard to say, but the set gives a nod to that era.
