Here's a pair of antique. Victorian-era, recessed pocket door pulls in very good condition. They are made of cast bronze and are original, unpolished, and just as they were when they were removed. These handles date back to around 1885 and were made by the Norwalk Lock Company and have the numbers 08844 stamped on the backs. Each measures 2 1/16 inches wide, 5 3/4 inches tall, and 1/2 inch deep. Once cleaned up, these authentic Victorian pocket door pulls will be gorgeous! Antique Bronze Pocket Door Set by Corbin"Roanoke" c1895. This beautiful antique pocket door set includes four stamped bronze pocket door pulls and two mortise locks with working folding key. The locks have push-buttons that pop out handles. The better to pull your doors closed with. Both locks were made by Yale& Towne and have copper-striped iron faceplates. The wrought bronze pulls have the classic Victorian"Roanoke" design and were made by P. and F. Corbin around 1885. The flowery design at top and bottom curl around the centers. These pulls are in very good condition with light to moderate surface wear and have a rich. Coppery patina. This great set is in excellent working order. Item description Antique Russell& Erwin Classic design pocket door lock set c.1880. This great cast bronze set in a highly desirable pattern. The set is in very good cosmetic and mechanical condition. The lock face plates and door pulls are beautifully finished in corresponding patterns typical of R&E at the time. This is a complete set and is designed for a double pocket door with flat stiles. The keyed lock works smoothly. The finger pulls extend properly and the locking bolt is in excellent working order. The key is adjustable to the doors thickness and works as it should. The receiver lock is one of the better designs with a spring loaded cover for the latch bolt opening. The receiver lock's face plate has some tool marks from an improper attempt to loosen the pull, but the unit has been restored to complete and proper function. ... moreThe primary lock's backset to the keyhole center is 2" and both face plates are 7 7/16" tall x 1 1/4" wide. The lock boxes are 5 1/2" tall x 11/16" thick x 3 1/2" deep. The door pulls are 5 1/4" x 2 3/4" at the widest point. The recessed part of the pull is 2 1/8" in diameter x 1/2" deep. The set originally had a silver or nickel finish, almost none of which remains. There are some small marks on the receiver lock next to the opening for the latch bolt that have no impact on the locks function. Penn Antique Restoration. Pair of Antique Cast Bronze Square Pocket Door Pulls. Handsome. Antique, pocket door pulls salvaged from Southeastern Pennsylvania. They are made of solid, heavy, thick, cast bronze, not plated steel. We found the pulls partially painted and dirty. Since then. We've cleaned and polished both to the best of our ability. Both have light swirly scratches. Which may have been caused by an orbital sander. Perhaps someone was stripping the door they were on and didn't remove them prior to sanding. These are just minor, cosmetic blemishes. However, they are in great physical condition without any breaks, cracks, chips, dents, gouges, or deep scratches. Antique Victorian Pocket Door Pull Set Bronze Cast Iron Yale & Towne Y&T 8 inch
Included are 4 pocket door pulls. I believe they are Bronze but could be the back is Cast Iron. Please see and enlarge all photos and decide for yourself. They are about 7 7/8" long. About 2 1/4" wide and about 1/4" deep. They are made by Yale& Towne and have the Y&T inside a clover on the back of each plate. For condition, please look at all the photos and enlarge them as that is the best way to describe these. These are dirty and I have not tried to clean them- will leave that to the winner. I will ship Priority Mail the next day after payment from my smoke and pet free home.
