Pair old reclaim art deco style chrome door handles on backplates
This is for a nice pair of old reclaim art deco style chrome door handles on backplates with keyhole escution. The back plate measures about 6" x 1.5" and has a hole in each corner for fixing to the door, the handle is about 3.5" long and cut in typical art deco style,the keyhole escution is about 0.75" or 19mm in size, they will take the normal sized square bar as you can see in picture two( included) the condition original used and very good.

3 Vintage Bakelite Door Handles& 1 Handle Cap All are in good condition with only light wear. No chips or cracks. The paint should come off easily. One handle is round and very dark brown. Approx 4.2cm in diameter x 5.7cm deep. The other two are the same shape. One is slightly darker than the other but not by much. The lighter one has a small spot of wear on the top. It is approx 4.7cm in diameter x 5.1cm deep. The original rod is still attached and has two holes on either end. The rod is approx 10.5cm long x 7.25mm wide. The darker one is It is approx 4.8cm in diameter x 5.0cm deep. The original rod is still attached and has two holes on either end. The rod is approx 9.5cm long x 7.25cm wide. Pair Original ART DECO DOOR PULLS HANDLES Black Bakelite & Silver Chrome Metal
An original pair of Art Deco door pull handles in very good condition. These came from a late 1920's or early 1930's extension to a much older house which is now being restored to Victorian style. These door pulls consist of black Bakelite circular bars and weighty silver chrome metal fixings which are very typically Art Deco in style. The Bakelite is of a similar type to the old G.P.O. telephones and is free from damage. The silver metal chrome has four recessed screw fixing holes with which to attach to the door. The chrome similarly is in good condition although there are traces of paint on the undersides. Each one measures seven and one quarter inches in total length(18 cms) with the Bakelite bars each measuring six inches exactly.

Pair of chrome Art Deco door handles with backplates and connecting spindle. They are original period items. NOT reproduction. The reverse shows that there were various patents granted on 19th December 1932. Which adds a nice touch of authenthicity. They would have been in an iconically styled Art Deco house. Condition is very good considering they are over 80 years old. There is a fine surface scratching all over and slight remnants of house paint. Set French art deco bronze brass cabinet door pulls / handles / escutceon plates
Description For auction are a set of French bronze or brass Art Deco period cabinet or wardrobe door handles. Draw handles and escutcheon plates with a small keyhole cutout on each one. They have a typical fluted art deco design. With a combination of stylized flowers and swags. They are a good size and shape, and were removed from a 1930's French cabinet, fixing is via pin holes on the escutcheon plates and cupboard handles and nut and bolt fixings on the drawer handles. Condition is generally good. The pieces are all tarnished with age the escutcheon plates are made from a pressed metal that was originally gilded, these measure 10.5cm long x 2cm wide. One of the cabinet door handles is missing a tiny piece where one of the mounting pins would be fitted but I feel it would not be noticeable once mounted. As the pin hole is mostly intact ... moreso the pin head should cover the missing fragment. It does not effect the overall look of the handle. The door handles measure 13cm long x 1.7cm at the widest point Each draw handle is fixed via two small threaded bolts on the rear with a nut to secure them. The length of the bolt is 3cm so could be used on a draw thickness up to 25mm and measures 11.5cm long x 2cm wide. Simple, yet well designed, set of six(6) black gloss bakelite/celluloid? handles date to the Art Deco or 1950,s period. The stylish elongated body of the handles have been designed with a slight raised curvature. Terminating in points at both ends. Must likely originally used for a set of drawers or cabinet doors. Each handle has a total length of 102mm and a width at the widest point of 15mm. The screw holes have an internal width of 3mm whilst the centre of the two fixing holes measure 76mm. Considering there vintage age the handles are in good clean condition. With no breaks, however two pieces has very minor wear to edges, hardly noticable, mentioned for accuracy to potential buyers. They are of classic art deco design and would have been used on the doors or drawers of a fine piece of quality deco furniture or possibly as a window catch. William Morris 9 French Antique Limoges Porcelain/Brass Door Handles and Plates– Art Deco Hardware An ensemble of 9 beautiful cream white porcelain handles and door protection plates with black lines– very geometrical. Pure-line Art Deco styling. Dating from the 1930’s. Six of the handles are in the oval knob style and three and push-down handles. Three of the door protection plates have a key entry and six are plain. They come with an assortment of screws including 13 very rare matching porcelain top screws and 11 very thick. Original brass screws. All handles and plates are in excellent condition– no chips. No cracks, and no fissures with a very glossy porcelain finish.
