This is a very pretty set of Antique. 12-Sided Brass and Glass door knobs. It comes with 2 set screws and spindle. Both knobs are in very good condition. One has a frozen screw(a soaking agent like Loctite could help loosen it) the other has a free-turning screw. There are no visible chips or cracks, but one knob does have a small spot of paint. This is a Truly Unique and RARE find! Most glass doorknobs have 8 sides. Some 10. But 12 is truly a rare style to find! Even more amazing is the color! These knobs appear to be clear glass at first glance, but catch them at any angle in the light and they are in fact a purple amethyst tinted color! This set is sold in as in condition- EXACTLY what you see in the photo will be shipped to you. We cut a piece out of the door, with all of the hardware intact. No guarantee is made as to the condition of the hardware once it is removed from the door. The knobs turn, and the lock turned with an old skeleton key we have. We make no guarantee what will happen when/if you remove it from the piece of the door. We did not want to damage the integrity of this piece by pulling It apart!
