One set is not as old as the others and one of the glass knobs on this one set has been glued into the base. The bases holding this set in place are a shiny brass(my reason for declaring them newer) the latch and the backplates are older though. All have dexter latches. All come with set screws. Vntg. 12-Sided Glass Door Knob Set w/Open & Close Mechanism, Spindle & 2 screws
This vintage set is in Working Order and is a Complete Set! The glass is in very good condition. But the knobs are of slightly different design. The brass bases have some paint as does the opening/closing mechanism. There is some dried rubber at the base of the knobs. I'm not sure if these are rubber bands, or what? But the knobs fit securely in their bases and there is no play between glass and brass. This would be a great set for a restoration project or someone who is a collector. Vintage Antique light Purple Glass & Brass door knob 12 sides
I just purchased a box of old glass door knobs and will be listing them a s soon as possible. You are viewing a light purple 12 sided glass door knob with brass hardware. It's 2" in diameter and 2.25" over-all length. The brass hardware has a beautiful patina. On a 1~10(w/ 1 being the lightest) I would put the color at a 2~4 in depth. It has a round threaded hole with set screw for the shaft. Condition: I cannot see any chips or scratches.

The other approximately 2 1/8" The round knob has is approximately 2" in diameter. The smaller 12-sided knob has some paint on the brass. A flea bite at one of the corners and is missing the set screw. No cracks. The larger 12-sided one also has a small chip at one of the corners. and is missing the set screw. No cracks. The rounded knob has some hazing and other clarity issues- please see photos. This one comes with the shaft and the other back plate.
