This is a very nice picture frame with a cool photograph of a little girl taken over 50 years ago. The bud vase is a nice compliment to the frame. It does have a small crack. Please see photos for a great description. The frame measures 4 1/4 inches wide by 5 1/4 inches in length. The actual picture size would be 3" x 4" The vase is 7 1/2" tall. The tray measures 11" x7" These celluloid pieces go with many patterns and I do have more listed.

Antique Mission Fumed Oak Arts & Crafts Frame 12 X 16 Opening
This is an antique mission fumed oak Arts& Crafts frame. It dates sometime from the 1890s to the 1910s. Overall it measures 16 1/8 inches x 20 1/4 inches(41 cm x 51.4 cm) The back opening size is 12 inches x 16 inches(30.5 cm x 40.6 cm) The molding width measures 2 3/8 inches(6 cm) The finish on this handsome frame is all original. Due to its age. It has a few light scratches on it. But nothing that hurts its overall look. There is one chip in the top right corner on the back. It measures about 1 1/4 inches x 1/4 inch(3.2 cm x.63 cm) However. When the frame is hanging on the wall, it's not noticeable(please see photo) The frame has an excellent rich. Deep dark brown finish. Unlike most frames. It has rounded corners. They add a very classy touch to it. It has that great old bubbled and wavy glass. Antique Dutch Style Rippled Wavy Carved Frame 10 5/8 X 15 3/4 Opening
This is a very good looking antique Dutch style ripple/ wavy carved frame. I would estimate it dates from the 1920s. Overall. It measures 19 1/2 inches x 24 7/8 inches(49.5 cm x 63.2 cm) The back opening size is 10 5/8 inches x 15 3/4 inches(27 cm x 40 cm) The molding is very wide at just under 5 inches(12.4 cm) The frame is very thick at 1 3/4 inches(4.5 cm) I'm convinced this frame is European for two reasons. First. Its design. Second, the dimensions are exact in centimeters which usually distinguishes a European frame. I'm not sure what type of wood was used. But it's quite beautiful. I'm sensing it's oak, though. The wavy/rippled site edge and outer rim design is made of carved wood. There are wood slats holding the inner sections of the frame together for reinforcement and nails on the outside. Structurally. It's ... morevery sound. As you can see in the photos. The corners don't line up exactly, so there's some space there. This was either due to shrinkage or it was originally cut a little off. There are a few light nicks around the edges. There is one small chip out of the top right corner(please see photo) But nothing that takes away from the overall look of the frame. The patina just can't be beat. It's a beautiful. Rich color. There is no glass. It was definitely made by a skilled framemaker. It would be great for an old oil painting. Drawing, folk art work, sampler, fraktur, silhouette, etc. It weighs a hefty 8 lbs. 1 oz. 3.66 kg) It has what I always look for in frames. That wonderful old world look!

Antique Early 20th Century Gold Ribbon Bow Floral Frame 11 X 14 Opening
This is a beautiful antique gold ribbon bow floral frame from the early 20th century. It dates circa 1910s or 1920s. Overall. It measures 12 1/8 inches x 15 3/4 inches(30.8 cm x 40 cm) The back opening size is 11 inches x 14 inches(28 cm x 35.6 cm) Most of the molding is 3/4 inches wide(1.9 cm) not including the ribbon on top. The frame has a lovely French look about it. Perhaps it's the decoration on top. Most of the frame is made of wood with applied composition. The ribbon bow and flowers are all applied composition. Although they do look carved. The frame is totally painted gold. It has some light scratches and scuff marks to it. But nothing significant. There are very tiny nicks in the corners, but again, nothing significant. It has a piece of glass. But it has a light 5 inch(12.7 cm) circular scratch on it and a few other light ... moreones. I don't believe it's original. But it's still very usable. It weighs 1 lb. 11 oz. 774 g) It has what I always look for in frames. That wonderful old world look!

VINTAGE WOOD PICTURE FRAME WITH PROBABLY NEW PRINT OF WOMAN BY SUNDIAL BY DESCH
Please note that this is not being sold as a vintage or antique lithograph print. It's an older wood frame probably from the 1940's that has wear to the paint(very dark) and corners. The corners are tight and not wobbly. The reverse has 2 old holes on one side and one on another from where it was probably hung horizontally at some point in time. The cardboard backing looks newer. Total frame size is 10 1/2 x 8 1/2 inches. Rabbet(opening on reverse) size is 7 3/4 x 9 3/4 inches. Behind glass is a print of a woman in early 1900's clothing looking at a sundial in a garden. The print looks to be a newer(modern) reproduction. There is a speck in the woman's hair that may be s particle between the print and the glass. In the lower right border area there is handwritten a price of 35 cents. Also a crease lower right corner. There ... moreis a signature lower left in print image of Frank Desch. Once again. This does not appear to be an old print, but a newer one. Haven't taken this out of the frame to further inspect it since the time I bought it several years ago. Maybe someone can use it. Antique Gold Art Nouveau Bat Wing Pie Crust Frame Original Photo 10 X 12 Opening
This is a beautiful decorative antique gold Art Nouveau bat wing or pie crust frame with its original photo. It dates 1910s or 1920s. Overall. From winged corner to corner it measures 11 3/8 inches x 13 3/8 inches(28.9 cm x 34 cm) The back opening measures 10 inches x 12 inches(25.4 cm x 30.5 cm) The molding width varies a bit but measures approximately 7/8 inches(2.2 cm) The frame is all original. Its a high-quality frame made with wood and composition that was hand shaped. It's not from just a mold. It has a great gold color with bright golden highlights to it. It has some very light damage. There are a few minor hairline cracks to the finish due to age. The matt is a lighter color around the photo and along the site edge of the frame. But given the consistency. I believe this was done originally. There are a few spots of dirt in between ... morethe glass and the matt, but I didn't want to take it all apart to get them out(please see photos) The glass is a little loose due to lost nails. So I will be reinforcing it in the back with framing staples. They can easily be taken out. The photograph was taken by Atlantic Studio. Which is penciled in the lower right corner of the photo. It has its great old original wavy and lightly bubbled glass. The frame has developed what is just a lovely patina. It would be great for an old oil painting. Folk art work, sampler, silhouette or just by itself hanging on the wall. That's how nice it is! It weighs 1 lb. 14 oz. 854 g) It has what I always look for in frames. That wonderful old world look!

Antique 1920s or 1930s Arts and Crafts"pie crust" picture frame. This particular frame is designed by it's decorations to be hung long vs wide. You can see that in the photos but there are certainly no laws against hanging this frame wide. This little gem has interior or rabbet measurements of 10 1/16" by 8 1/8" Overall exterior measurements are 11 1/8" by 9 3/8" The rabbet measurements are 1/4" wide by 3/8" deep. The finish is a rich. Darkish, bronzey gold with the edges brought to a higher shinier gold. This frame has had a good life and is in very good original vintage condition. Antique wood and gesso picture frame from the teens or 1920s. This frame was made to hold a work of art vertically at 20" by 16" because of the extra bat wing or pie crust decoration at top(or bottom) of frame. Actual rabbet measurements are 20 3/16" by 16 3/16" The width of the frame is 1 1/2" not counting the outward extension of the wings or pie crust at the four corners and at the top. The color is a dark bronze. Condition is very good with no real negative condition issues. This antique frame will show beautifully any fine painting. Art Nouveau Antique Ornate Small Jeweled Metal Picture Frame Flowers in Corners
I purchased this sweet little picture frame at a local estate sale and the frame measures approx. 2 1/4 inches by 3 inches with the picture portion measuring 1 1/4 inches by 2 inches. The metal frame. I think it is probably tin, has a flower in each corner and each flower has a small purple stone in the middle. The top, bottom, and both sides also have a purple stone. I don't see a maker's name on it. It has an easel back and the little glass insert has small chips along the edges. A must have for anybody who collects small antique picture frames.

With NO significant chips, cracks, only a fine crack to bottom and side that could be touched up by gold gilt cream; the glass/mirror is super clean and bright, and the Gold gilding on the wood& gesso frame is a rich water gilt gold, which is in great condition and looks lovely. This 20" Oval Mirror is most likely from the early 1900's. And looks fantastic! As you can see from the photos, this has a stunning frame, which is more beautiful than the pictures show! Antique Victorian WALNUT Civil War Era Picture Frame 18 1/4 x 20 5/8 c1860s ART
Frame not as dark as above shot. More like close-up picture below. Here is a nice antique walnut picture frame. Looks to have been made of carved molding and had a inner gilt/gesso slip liner. The inner gilt/gesso is mainly all chipped off, but the frame itself is sturdy still. It measures 24 x 26 1/8 ins. and the inner rabbet size is 18 1/4 x 20 5/8 ins. The molding is 2 3/4 ins. wide. This frame has an unusual element, it has four corners with a round old wood putty( I think) covered hole. Unsure if it was made that way, or more likely someone many, many decades ago repaired it with nails or screws and then puttied over it. Really do not know for certain.The frame is solid and sturdy.I would date it to the 1860-80s time period. Perfect for Victorian. Nice 19th Century American Cove Frame, c. 1860
A nice Amercian 19th century cove frame with acanthus leaf corners. C. 1860. Opening measures 24.50 x 34.50, but has been opened up so it could take a picture a bit larger. Very wide molding at 5 inches thick. Original bronze finish is mostly intact, there are a number of chips and losses on the back edging, plus along one of the short edges where it sat against a moist floor. Has great detaiing along the top edge molding- looks like acanthus leaves interspersed by rope perhaps. Needs to be restored to be properly appreciated. We won't pack this ourselves, but will drop this off to a local UPS store for you to pay for proper packing and shipping. It can laso be picked up if you are near the New York City region of lower NY State. Good luck!

Offering this antique wood picture frame which has beautiful relief flowers and silver gilding as shown. It has the original curved glass as well. It comes with the antique photograph as shown. On the back of the picture. Someone had glued two old prints as shown. It also comes with the old original cardboard backing as shown. The frame has some minor damage shown in picture 3. DECORATIVE MONTICELLO NY FRAMED LOG CABIN CAFE ADVERTISING SIGN W/POINTER DOGS
Up for auction is a framed advertising piece designed for Monticello. New York's Log Cabin Cafe which was in business in the late 1800's. It looks like a print that is framed with chain and has a glass covering. I am not sure how long Log Cabin was in business for. But this piece looks very old and it has a nice picture with 2 pointer dogs. It is showing age underneath the glass with some staining around the frame and the back is very yellowed. The chain is not glued to the glass. It basically sits very tightly against the glass. It measures approximately 5 by 7 inches as shown in photos. It comes from an estate with a collection of vintage Monticello. New York items that I will be posting. Please look at the photos as they are part of description and best judge for condition.
