This is an excellent heavy silver plated tray in mint condition It measures 1 3" long X 9-1/2" wide There are no dents, heavy scratches or plate loss There are a very few light usage scratches According to the lady I bought this from. Her late father and sometimes his frien d s enjoyed their favorite cognac and brandy from bottles on this tray Having much s ilver herself. She carefully cleaned this tray every time alcohol was spilled on it to prevent tarnish. This is an outstanding tray made by the Sheridan Silver Co. It is ornately etched with a raised design on the edge. Handles and feet and is quite heavy. The makers number on the tray I believe is#755224 and there's a hallmark on the bottom and it states it's silver on copper. There is space in the very center for an inscription so you can make it your own.

The handles and the feet very ornate. I believe that this piece is Post-Deprssion era. It measures apporx 25" long(handle to handle) x approx 15 3/4" wide. Beautiful Sheridan footed pie plate holder server. Measures 12 and three quarter inches across two and three quarter inches high. This holds an 10 inch glass pie plate which also comes with it. The pie plate is Pyrex. Marked 210 and 10 inch made in the USA oven ware. The PIe stand shows a lot of tarnish. From age. The inside part that holds the glass pie plate is shiny but the edge and the bottoms are tarnished. I took pictures so you can see that the edge and the bottom is darker than the inside part. The edge is beautiful really ornate. And this is a heavy sturdy well-made item.

I am offering this Vintage Sheridan Silver Plated Large Elaborate Detailed Footed Oval Platter/Tray with Pyrex Insert. It stands 3" tall on 4 elaborate feet x 20 1/2" long x 13 3/4" wide. The Pyrex insert is 1 3/4" tall x 18 1/2" long x 10 1/2" wide. The silver plated tray is oval. And has a nice carved detail design at the bottom, with a detailed raised scroll work border edge. The oven proof Pyrex dish fits nicely in the center and displays a lovely presentation when served. Use for hot or cold items. Condition is overall good.
