It has a chased service and heavy, ornate applied edging and double handles. The decoration takes the form of shells, loops, and little C-scrolls that stick out by themselves, a touch I have never seen before. There is a Gothic"H" monogram in the center. It is marked on the underside with a small round plaque that says"Plated by Gorham Mfg Co. 0808" It dates to the 1890- 1905 period. The large tray measures 32 inches across the handles. Gorgeous Vintage Wallace Baroque Footed Waiter's Tray; Silverplate 294F 18" x 29" This was a wedding gift in 1970. I have never used it and found it sitting in a zippered silver anti-tarnish bag in a box on a shelf in my mother's basement. For some reason she put an address label on the bottom which I have removed. You can still see the shape of it though but it certainly won't affect the beauty of this special piece. I don't think she ever used it either and it looks brand new. Shipping to U.S. mainland only. I now live in Mexico and the items I'm selling are at my son's house in Chicago. For your consideration is a very hard to find vintage silver plate Goldfeder Waiter/ Butler serving tray. It has 4 large feet. One of which is shown in picture 6. It weighs almost 10# It measures 28 1/2" from handle to handle. And is 17 1/2" deep. It has no dents or dings. It does have light surface wear, and does show a tint of the undermetal on the surface. See Pictures. I love an antique such as this like it is, however. It can be replated if you wish. It is stamped with the crown logo and SGEP on the back. These large trays are a scarce commodity. This listing is for a Vintage. Sheridan Silverplate Footed Waiter's Tray. The pattern features a scroll and leaves design with fans at the peaks. The handles are large and rectangular, perfect for serving. The center of the tray has a matching, intricate scroll and leaves pattern. The feet are very broad, providing excellent stability while adding elegance by lifting the tray up. The bottom is marked with the Sheridan hallmark and"Silver on Copper" The tray measures 22 1/4" across the handles. 18" by 13" across the tray, 1 1/4" high and weighs approx. 5 lbs 4.2 oz. Here we have today is a vintage Bristol poole silverplate footed waiter tray. This tray is 25" long and marked 73 22 Bristol Poole EPCA on the back. This ornate tray is in vintage condition. There is a lot of pitting with silver loss to the top of the tray, with surface scratches. The bottom has no pitting or silver loss and piece is in need of a better cleaning. This tray is very very rare and will be a prized piece for a long time. This is an enormous heavy Towle silverplate footed butler's? Pie or waiter's tray. We believe THE PATTERN IS GRAND DUCHESS. The tray is marked 6952. Please see pics to make sure you are purchasing what you wanted. It measures 13 7/8" round" The tray is beautifully carved and decorated as the photos show. The tray is deep. And appears to be able to hold a 10" pie dish. There is an insignia which looks like crossed golf clubs on a crest. It is in excellent condition no dents. Dings or loss of silver. Minor scratches from polishing and use. Nothing significant. When you turn the tray over it looks like there is a nick in the tray. But it is not apparent on the top. The mark appears as though it may be a result of the etching on the surface.
