Up for your consideration I have a large rectangular silver plated footed serving tray. Its dimensions are 19 X 30 X 2 inches. It has sturdy handles at each end. I am not sure who made it. Where it is from, or how old it is, however, I am assuming it is post-1940. It is marked with four emblems and reads“Silver on Copper” It is very heavy and weighs approximately 13 pounds. It is not in perfect condition: it has some small and large water marks, fingerprints, blemishes, and a yellowish maybe waxy stain on one of the corners. Some of these marks might come out with a gentle cleaning or polishing. It does not have any dents or noticeable dings. It is not monogrammed. There are no dents. Scratches or wear marks. It is ornately decorated with a striking and heavily embossed foral, leaf, and scroll design. This is a very nice. Quite heavy Butler's tray. It is footed and almost 2 inches tall to lip of tray, Tray itself is about 20 by 13 1/2 inches. It is stamped Oneida USA on back. Condition is excellent but of course needs polishing. Very ornate roping on the edges and handle.

For your consideration is a very hard to find vintage silver plate Goldfeder Waiter/ Butler serving tray. It has 4 large feet. One of which is shown in picture 6. It weighs almost 10# It measures 28 1/2" from handle to handle. And is 17 1/2" deep. It has no dents or dings. It does have light surface wear, and does show a tint of the undermetal on the surface. Here is a quite old silverplate Butler's Crumb Tray. Footed, with a wooden handle. The square tray part is about 7 1/2 inches square. The handle is about 6 inches long. And including the thumb handle and the feet, it is about 3 1/2 inches overall height. The little thumb handle and the feet are quite ornate. Otherwise it is a nice plain design. There's scuff marks and light scratches. As well as tarnish on the outside. Mainly on the top. The inside is nice and clean looking. There's some marks on the wood part of the handle. The platter itself has an attractive. Gracefully chased design. This is an excellent tray both for display and it’s high degree of usability. A very interesting detail. And indication of quality, is that the handles are decoratively carved on both sides as would be expected but the inside of the three scrolled feet are also finished on the insides that don’t really show. It does say Sheridan Silver Co. Inc. on the bottom. However, it does not say that this is silver plate specifically, but it clearly is by the tarnish. I have a feeling that under the bolted down heating element it does have a stamp. There is a faint blush of a coppery tone in some carved inner grooved ... moreareas and underneath, but that may just be how whatever metal underneath has aged. 45+ years old. 14& 5/8" diameter(18& 5/8” long where the handles span) 2” high(3” including upward tilt of handles) Chased detail surround the blank cartouche. This Kitchensink offering is for an Antique Elegant Floral and Shell Goldfeder Sheffield Silverplate Footed Pierced Butler’s Tray. I couldn’t believe how massive this is. Both in weight and dimensions. This would be a perfect accompaniment to your Silver Tea Service Makes me think of Downton Abbey. How did they tote these trays around fully loaded with a tea service? The tray is immense with a gorgeous ornate floral and shell highly detailed design on the tray, rim, handles and feet. The handles and feet are welded on. Goldfeder Silver Company was founded in 1932 by Sol Goldfeder in New York, and in 1957 became Birmingham Silver Co. This tray dates to the early days of the company.
