The three pieces of camel bone hand painted. Depict a rural Muslim Village scene of a communal meal preparation, feasting, and dancing. Kenyon College Gambier Ohio - Pair of Vintage Oil Paintings of the Middle Path
A lovely pair of Vintage Oil Paintings of the Middle Path at Kenyon College in Gambier Ohio. Not sure of the date of painting. But I'd guess that it was early 1900s or so. Measure a little more than 8"x5" The artist wrote in pencil on the back of each board. Her writing is a bit difficult to read. But it basically says that they were given as a gift to a couple as a wedding present. The groom, Harry, proposed to Florence on the Kenyon college grounds. Condition- while the one of the Middle Path Gates looks in pretty good shape. The one of the lake/tree trunk does have some paint bubble pops on the trunks* Easels NOT included*

You will get the 4 paintings that are pictured. And they are all original oil paintings signed by the artists! The top left one, beach scene with birds is signed"Bond" the top right one, mountain landscape scene, is signed"Williams" and the bottom 2 are both signed by the same artist, I just can't make out the name, it looks like"Bolin" and those 2 appear to be by a french artisit, but I couldn't find any art under that name, so I'm sure that isn't correct. Each painting is in a nice frame, each art piece is approx 7" x 5" and all of the frames are approx 15" x 13" except for the Williams one, it is a bit smaller, like 13" x 11" All of these would look awesome hung up near each other. This is a Craft Master Paint-By-Number that was made in Toledo Ohio back in 1959. It has two pictures of The Christ. One has been started as shown. I did not open any of the paints but. I'm pretty sure they will all be hard as old as they are. I know people still do these by matching the color scheme with freash paints. Oil on Canvas Paintings of Flowers. Vintage Frames. 1900's -NR
Up for sale I have 3 different oil on canvas hand painted paintings of flowers. They are originals from my great grandmother purchased early 1900's. I am unsure of the artist on two of the three paintings. The smallest of the three paintings has a signature which I cannot make out(Looks to me maxline or something to that degree) I do not know much about oil on canvas as my knowledge is based on antique books. But I have a growing addition of antiques and artwork that I sadly do not have room for or time to reframe or keep them in the good condition they are in. The frame on one of the paintings is broken(chunk of wood on the back chipped off and the matte around the painting is stained. Please see pictures) I am unsure how to properly care for the paintings so I have not touched them as far as trying to remove the stains from the matte ... moreor re-matting them/re-framing them. The smallest of the paintings is in very good condition and the other painting you can tell is old as the matte is yellowing but no stains. 2 - Vintage Oil ? Paintings - Outdoor Scenes
You are bidding on a nice lot of 2 vintage paintings. I am not an expert but they appear to be done in oils. 1) Framed size 13 1/2"x19 1/2" Outdoor scene with tree in foreground and a house in the background. It looks to be faded or dirty and could use a good cleaning but still has a nice moody look. I cannot see an artists signature. 2) Framed size 11 1/4" x 13 1/4" Outdoor river scene with an overhanging tree and its` reflection. There appears to be no damage. There is a signature at the lower left that appears to be Fizenne. The first painting seems to be a lot older and has a much older looking frame. Good Luck!
