Dating from the 1870s, it has burl panels all over, hand carved crest on the very top, five different style shapely mirrors, rose quartz on the drop center and two top columns, four small drawers, one large drawer on the base and a hidden drawer on the very bottom. The burl panels are all picture frame molded on the drawers and on the inside of the drop center. It has oversize candle shelves. In my over 50 years in the business, I don’t believe I have owned this model even though I have had my share of drop center dressers.

We purchased some really interesting pieces from this collector as he is downsizing, and this antique oak dresser was refinished about 20-30 years ago, and we did a couple of touch ups. This fantastic oak dresser is in nice condition in a medium oak stain finish. It has two small concave front drawers on the top and a large bow front drawer in the base for plenty of storage. The Victorian dresser has cabriole carved columns coming down into a detail claw foot, panel sides, multi-molded rolled front above the drawers, carved yolks that hold up the mirror.

This antique china closet is a stout and sturdy cabinet with a serpentine front door, curved glass sides, four shelves with plate grooves in the back and the original key. It looks likes the left glass panel might have been replaced as there is a little gap where it doesn’t fit perfectly, but it could have happened at the factory. It is all tight and sturdy.
