We are pleased to offer this lovely pair of vintage nightstands/tables. The pair dates to 1981 and features superb. French Provincial details. They have ornate, cabriole legs with prominent"ball" feet. They have scalloped aprons with carved detailing. The front faces feature double doors with wire insets and delicate, brass flower pulls. The faces are flanked with fluted columns for even more interest. The pair are a gorgeous color. They have a general medium wood tone but this is achieved with a chocolate glaze over a golden wood color. There is a darker, outer finish which has a slightly(sparingly) splatter look. The finish is really nice and has a lot of depth. This is the original finish. There are no manufacturer's marks, but the tables are stamped with numbers(dated) underneath. We are pleased to offer this fabulous pair of Mid Century(1950s) side tables or nightstands. The pair. Though not marked, are of extremely nice quality. They are in the style of Baumritter for Ethan Allen or Cushman. They are constructed of solid(no veneer) maple and birch. The tables are a unique, 2 tiered design. They feature a single top drawer and a very nice, lift up(breadbox style) storage compartment. The drawer has a 3, raised panel design with white glass knobs. The lift up door is set an angle and features an incised/carved detail and an ornate pull. The legs are chunky and are set at an 90 degree angle against the scalloped skirts which gives the tables a very interesting look. The tables are VERY HEAVY and very sturdy. We are pleased to offer this beautiful. QUALITY pair of vintage, French Provincial/Country, tables or nightstands. The tables are dated 1960. They are solid oak with a darker stained finish. They feature upgraded details such as dove tail drawers, barley twist/rope trim, and nice hardware. The tables are tiered with column style legs. The tops are fitted with cast, black granite or slate. The stone is etched with a striking, French Iron Gate, scrolled design that incorporates several fleur-de-lis in the pattern. The pattern is polished with the background a rough texture. The stone tops are not attached and sit freely on the tables. Each table has a single drawer that provides ample storage. The chests are wood construction with all exposed areas clad or wrapped in brass. The fronts of the pieces feature substantial brass drawer pulls. The sides, tops and backs of the tables have multiple rivets. These are an exceptional pair. Vintage Mid Century Modern Walnut Teak Pair Nightstands Dixie Danish Style
This is a beautiful pair of mid century modern nightstands. Made by Dixie. Both are in absolutely fantastic condition. There are a few very minor scuffs and some spots where the lacquer finish is starting to wear thin, but even this is nearly invisible after a quick wipe down with some furniture polish. I'm not sure what type of wood is used. I don't think it's teak, but it's beautiful. The drawers work perfectly, and are dovetailed, solid wood construction. Of course. These are approx 40- 55 years old, so it's natural they have SOME wear, but that being said, you'd never know it. Overall, I'd rate these at about 9 or 9.5 out of 10 for condition. This is a pair of vintage mid century modern nightstands. Made by westnofa in Norway. Classic Scandinavian modern design, They are teak wood, with one drawer each. Though I'm not sure the specific designer, Westnofa is well known for manufacturing Scandinavian designer furniture, and these nightstands are no different. They do have the tags still on the back.
