I think that the samples themselves could be cleaned up quite nicely with an upholstery cleaner. The metal binding& the staples that affix the little tags to each sample are rusty. Therefore there are rust marks/stains on the fabric throughout the book. Condition of samples: there are some rough spots, stains, and some of the outer stitching is coming apart on a few. So this probably dates between 1959 and the early 1960s. 336 pages. 9" by 12" illustrated in both color and black& white. Cover has some creasing. Browning and a small area of surface loss. A Capwell's business card is stapled to the inside of the front cover(see last photo below) Title page has 1/2" tear at bottom edge. Also.
