They are made ... moreof cherry with a chocolate brown stain. Golden highlights are present as well. The pair have cabriole legs with carved. Acanthus leaves as well as ball and claw foot details. The apron sections are extremely detailed and ornate. They feature a carved/incised acanthus scroll and shell pattern which is present on all 4 sides. The tops are in a stepped design and are very thick. There is a recessed, window pane feature which is designed for a glass top. The tables are very nice. There are no manufacturer's marks but there is a patent sticker present. They are very sturdy though not exceptionally heavy. There are just a few and very minor nicks and slight scuffs which are not distracting and which can be resolved. The original glass is not present but should be very easy and inexpensive to replace. These are beautiful! Please note that we have the matching sofa table listed separately. The tables are rectangular and can be placed as you choose since the aprons are the same. They measure 21.5" tall. 21.75" wide and 27.75" long. The replacement glass needs to be approximately 17.25" x 23" Shipping via GREYHOUND to the station nearest you. The coloring is vibrant and beautiful. The gold has no scratches. Dulling color, cracks or scuffs. The middle table looks to have some discoloration, but I think that is from the gold paint bleeding onto the white part. It's shiny and gold, so that is why I say it's a manufacturing flaw. On the small table there is one scratch underneath the screw nut from turning, but that's the only scratch. It has all the screw nuts and washers! One washer is cracked in half. What a great pair of tables! This pair measures 30" front to back) x 14" wide x 20" in height. Well constructed. These are very sturdy tables. The top is a laminate top.see the pic for damage to one of the tops. Other than the top damage and some minor rubs and scratches commensurate with age, these are in fantastic condition. The rubs and scratches may come out.I've only done a cursory clean with soap and water. All the vinyl"webbing" circling the legs is intact and solidly in place. The tops are easily removed if you were interested in replacing them with something other than laminate. Would be a great addition to a collection. Or look great in a tiki bar themed room! NO COASTERS! There are some very minor marks along the edges from typical use over the years. But still great step tables and they are not really that noticeable. The drawer fronts are different shades, they are certainly usable the way they are or the one could easily darkened with some polish or stain. Solid tables that will be great for many many more years to come, they just don't make them like this anymore! Wrought iron tables with leaf and flower top covered with a thick glass insert. Tables measure approximately 12" x 12" wide x 23" wide. Has light wear as pictured. Great condition for its age. So ornate and detailed- outstanding. There are a few minor scratches to the glass tops but I do not consider them serious. No chips or cracks in thick. Tempered glass tops. This vintage set of Japanese Girl's Day black lacquer wood doll furniture with gold floral design is in its box with some of the dishes still in their package. There are three square tables. Two of which are 2 1/8" tall and 4" square, and one which is 3" tall with a 3 1/2" square top. The two round tables are just under 3 1/2" tall, with a diameter of 3 1/2" The two diamond shaped tables are 2" tall. The tops are 5 1/2" at the longest point. The tops are not attached to the bases. There are two 2 1/4" tall vases painted silver, each with a 4 1/4" tall flower arrangement. The bowls range from 1 1/2" in diameter down to 7/8" The dishes are attached to the cardboard backing, and the small bowls inside the larger ones are firmly attached. They all have glass tops and each table slides out from under the other one and nests back in place. It is made from quality solid mahogany and the wood grain on the tops is just beautiful. The glass tops can be removed as they just rest in place. These tables have small surface scratches and small blemishes but overall they are in excellent condition for their age. Absolutely gorgeous hand carved tables with inlaid tops. They are each 21" high. And 21" wide. The tops lift off the bases, and the bases fold flat for easy shipping. They are intricately carved with a leaf motif. Marked India. They are fairly heavy and sturdy feeling, despite how delicate the carving. No cracks or repairs.
