This is a Beautiful vintage Majolica-style jardiniere and stand from 1940 that was manufactured by the Robinson Ransbottom Pottery Company(RRP) of Roseville Ohio. This pattern, Flowers" is shown in the RRP reference book and was made from an original Weller Pottery mold that was purchased when that company closed. Includes the Jardinere and the matching stand. In very good vintage condition. No chips or cracks, just a couple of glazing flaws from the manufactoring process. No other defects noted. The bottom of the pot reads"R.R.P.Co. Roseville Ohio, No-421, U.S.A. Stand is 14" tall. Jardinere is about 8" tall and 9.25" across the top Information on RRP Co. of Roseville. Ohio The Robinson Ransbottom Pottery began operation in 1900. Its founders had close ... moreties with the world famous Weller and Roseville Potteries. During the late 1890's. Frank Ransbottom was one of the area's best known and most successful jobbers of the stoneware and earthenware products made in Roseville, Crooksville and Saltillo. Here is a nice old wood table top or wall hanging small curio cabinet display shelf. Stands 15 1/2" tall to the top of decorative piece on top. 13" wide, and 4 1/2" deep. Three shelfs in the middle with a PLEXI glass door, and sides are plexi glass also. Four wood feet are the same design as the finials on top of cabinet. I'm not sure what kind of wood it is. I would say the finish is a Cherry tone. Shelfs and frame is a good sturdy wood, the backing is a thinner type. There are a few scratches on the front plexi glass, I do not know if they will buff out or not.
