Awesome vintage 1950's mid century Modernism brass and metal TV reading table spot lamp with all it's original parts. This elegant lamp features a very unique mid century design. In the first photo the lamp measures about 24" high by 16. The lamp is in full working order. With the turn nob switch operating to turn on one or both lights at a time so the lamp can run with just one or both the bulbs. The"stems" on each lamp are fully fexible. The outside of the metal shades show age ware which is hard to see in the photos. I believe this very unique lamp would be very hard item to come by today. Both chairs swivel. The vinyl is not perfect, as I show. Some wear and could use a bit more cleaning than we gave it. Table top has some spots where someone had repaired small nicks. There are glass windows on the sides and back. There are 3 containers that are seperate but can be hung on the sides. I would date this piece to be mid-century. This lovely table is in incredible condition and features exquisite design and detailing. Wonderfully crafted from heavy wrought iron(the table is very weighty) this unique table features elements of Mid Century sleekness with Hollywood Regency touches. The table is fashioned of iron"ribbons" which are both angular and curved. The ends are hammered to a thinner width to finish the ribbon effect perfectly. The iron has been gilded in a purposeful"spotty" pattern so the beauty of the wrought iron is allowed to peek through the gilded finish. This is a wonderful example of French Mid Century design. Vintage ZODIAC Astrology Brutal Metal Floating Table Mid Century Modern Jere Era
Offered is a vintage mid century modern brutal mixed metal table. This is an early piece of metal art. This is ultra rare and extremely unique. The table has a metal base which a large round brass and copper pan rests upon. Each individual copper piece hand applied and welded with large relief astrology animals and people symbols surrounding the large star brass inner pan. There are rods welded that support the glass top. This is one of the finest pieces of art. The table will mesh in any decor. It does show wear commensurate with age on the base bottom and you may wish to clean it up to remove any oxidation or repaint to your liking. The glass top has a tiny chip on rim edge along with surface abrasions due to age and use. You can probably have it polished. But I would simply replace it. We are pleased to offer this STUNNING AND RARE design. Mid Century, Hollywood Regency table with magazine holder. This gorgeous piece is constructed of Italian Florentine toleware with a wonderful, Chinoiserie style. The table features four very unique dragons on ornate table top. They are semi-connected to form a circular design. The balance of the table is full of incredible patterns and intricate details. There are an abundance of scrolled and curved Lotus flowers on the table top with the classical Acanthus design on the lower magazine holder section. The EXTREMELY ornate legs combine climbing Lotus vines and flowers with traditional Italian shell ornamentation. Each leg is Lyre shaped for further interest. The entire table is gold finished. The vivid red fabric shouts Mid Century, while the black Formica top tiers make these at home in many modern or retro motifs. Look closely at the woven reed panels on the uprights. very stylish and still in excellent condition! Some people would say that this is Spanish Modern, due to the color, but the lack of any wrought iron, lean me towards Hollywood regency. I would also fit in many gothic modern settings. We are unable to find ... morea makers mark on these. But they are crafted well, with real wood and thick Formica. Durable for use as a bench, or a side table. The cushions are firm and in very clean and excellent condition. They have lightened only a very little bit with age, as they were used in the basement den, so they had very little exposure to sunlight. Overall. You will never find an original pair of tables such as these, in such great condition. THIS IS AN INCREDIBLE AND EXTREMELY RARE OFFERING! We are pleased to offer to you this Mid Century. Extremely rare, Remy Martin liquor serving cart table. This fabulous four legged cart is wheeled and rolls freely. It is made of lightweight wood(maybe a composite) and lacquered in black. The top shelf is faux marbled. On the top shelf are 5 brass bottle holders. The center is a raised holder which is custom made for a bottle of Remy Martin Louis XIII Cognac(it is available online for $2500.00! The holder features a brass name plate in front. There are 4 brass bottle holders in the corner sections of the top shelf. Three of these has a brass name plate: Remy Martin VSOP(round holder) Remy Martin XO Special(elongated holder) and a round holder for Remy Martin Napoleon. The fourth holder is round with no brass plate so I am assuming you can ... morechoose what to position here. The entire top shelf is bordered with brass wire bracket. Attached to the underneath of the top shelf are two brass racks for housing stemware. The racks are concealed by the scalloped trim on the shelf. The bottom shelf has a rectangular brass rack which could hold various items. The legs are nicely turned. The cart has a raised wooden handle. The cart is in very good condition. As it is old. It does have some expected minor signs of age and use. The brass has some age spots but is mostly in very good condtion. The bottom shelf is slightly bowed in the center. However, none of these distracts from this fantastic cart. I cannot find anything on this piece. I do not feel that it was mass produced. My assumption is that this was used as a display for their product or this may have been custom made for a special client. The cart has a brass plate on the bottom of the top shelf which has a serial number on the brass plate with the word"Cart" engraved on it.
