They are made ... moreof cherry with a chocolate brown stain. Golden highlights are present as well. The pair have cabriole legs with carved. Acanthus leaves as well as ball and claw foot details. The apron sections are extremely detailed and ornate. They feature a carved/incised acanthus scroll and shell pattern which is present on all 4 sides. The tops are in a stepped design and are very thick. There is a recessed, window pane feature which is designed for a glass top. The tables are very nice. There are no manufacturer's marks but there is a patent sticker present. They are very sturdy though not exceptionally heavy. There are just a few and very minor nicks and slight scuffs which are not distracting and which can be resolved. The original glass is not present but should be very easy and inexpensive to replace. These are beautiful! Please note that we have the matching sofa table listed separately. The tables are rectangular and can be placed as you choose since the aprons are the same. They measure 21.5" tall. 21.75" wide and 27.75" long. The replacement glass needs to be approximately 17.25" x 23" Shipping via GREYHOUND to the station nearest you. The top shelf is 22 1/4" high and the lower table is 15 1/2" high Dovetailed corners in the drawers. Handles are brass. These tables have only minor signs of wear or age on some of the corners. We are pleased to offer this EXCEPTIONAL pair of Mid Century. Vintage side tables or nightstands. This beautiful pair feature sleek, Mid Century lines with a Chinoiserie design. The pair are solid wood construction. They feature STUNNING, inlaid tops with a pattern that changes upon the angle at which they are viewed. The inlay design is a diamond pattern when viewed from above or when looking at the tables from the front or back sides. When looking at the tables from their side profiles, the inlay design is more of a 4 square pattern. The table tops are inset and there is a raised lip border. The tables are have 2 tiers. The lower tiers feature a large, woven rattan or cane face. This section is quite lovely with a nice, contrasting, light to dark brown color palette. The legs are wood and feature a carved bamboo design. The bases have a ... moreChinese Meander(Greek Key) trim feature for added interest. The tables do not have drawers but do, instead, have generous slide out trays. The trays have a black laminate surface. The tables are exceptionally well made. They were manufactured by Heritage(Drexel) Furniture Company and are dated 1973. They are in very good condition with minor signs of age/use. They are very heavy and are structurally sound. There are some minor surface scratches but nothing severe or too distracting. There are some bumps, bruises and various chips to the Meander trim, but not really noticable except upon close inspection. This is a gorgeous pair and are of extremely nice construction. The tables measure 21.5" tall. The tops are 25.5" squared and the bases are 26" squared. There is a distance of 13.5" between the upper and lower tiers. These wonderful Nightstands/End Tables have a light/medium stain finish color, and they have interesting tapered legs, see pictures. These Nightstands/End Tables have dove-tailed drawers that are made out of solid wood on the inside. And they are working properly. These Nightstands have antique Brass-finish handles on the drawers. PR VINTAGE MID CENTURY FRENCH PROVINCIAL NIGHTSTANDS TABLES LINK LEXINGTON NC
We are pleased to offer this beautiful pair of Mid Century Vintage(1970) two drawer. Nightstands/tables. This is a beautiful pair of very fine quality(THEY ARE EXTREMELY HEAVY FOR THEIR SIZE) They were manufactured by Taylor-Link, prior to that company becoming part of the Lexington Furniture Company. The nightstands have wonderful, French Provincial lines, incised detailing, and cabriole legs They possess their original white finish which has a subtle, black splatter over the white. The tops have a beveled edge and the edge is in gold leaf. The drawer fronts feature a silver leaf surround. Again, these are original to the tables. Ornate brass drawer pulls further accent the pieces. The drawers have dovetail corners. Their interiors are wood(not composite) and they are stamped by the manufacturer. They are in very good condition with only ... moreminor aging to the finish which is not distracting and which lends to their aged character and charm. The drawers have had liners(still present) so they are clean and in good condition. We have purchased their matching dresser and chest of drawers and these are listed separately. There collection numbers are stamped on the back. They were produced(according to Lexington) in August of 1970. Each nightstand measures as follows: 24.5" tall. 26" wide and 17" deep(front to back) The drawers have an INTERIOR measurement of 18.5" wide, 13.5" deep(front to back) and 6" tall. Pair of Mid Century Modern Rattan Nightstands This is an excellent pair of vintage mid century modern nightstands. I am not sure if it is rattan or faux rattan. The material is solid and very heavy. These stands have a woven cane surface on the top and the lower shelf and each has a drawer. The nightstands are very solid and very sturdy and are in excellent condition with no breaks or repairs. One of the tops in the cane has some minor damage from when something was dragged across the top but that is about it.
