Classic campaign style, in very good vintage condition, made of fine solid hardwoods and premium grade brass ornamentation and hardware. Crafted by hand at the Drexel factory in Hickory, North Carolina, USA, home of the finest furniture manufacturers in the world for well over a hundred years. Both pieces feature a single full-length, dovetail-construction drawer on top, with the Drexel babe and logo branded into the hardwood sides, and two cabinet style campaign doors on the bottom, accessible either alone or in unison and revealing a large primary storage area inside, completely finished. Generally the finish is still lustrous and vibrant. With little or no fading. They are not without imperfections; On the top view photograph of one of the tables, you can see in the upper far left corner a very small scratch; there are a few even smaller places where imperfections or the slightest amount of wear is visible under close inspection. Any wear they do show is far less than age-appropriate, and I rate them a solid 8.5 or 9.0 out of 10. I was very surprised and very pleased to find these ultra-desirable and much-sought-after pieces in both such unusually good condition and in their original matching set. The drawers feature brass hardware(handles) The pair have nicely contoured front legs and rounded, tapered back legs. They are very heavy and nicely constructed with each piece weighing about 30lbs. There are no manufacturer's stickers, but the backs are numbered and they are each dated 7/23/1965. They are in very good condition with minor evidence of age. We are pleased to offer this beautiful pair of Mid Century(1960s) Hollywood Regency side tables or nightstands. The pair are extremely ornate and feature French Rococo details. The tables have pierced/filigree columns which are set upon stepped bases. The filigree pattern is ornate and Neoclassical. The columns have an ivory background color with antiqued gold on top. The table tops have a raised, picture frame design with the same, antiqued gold over ivory color that the columns have. The top surfaces are inset below the raised frames. The table top surfaces are BEAUTIFUL. They are multicolored in a painted technique that mimics eglomise, faux marble. The colors are slightly different on each table. Each table has a predominant gold color, but one table has a black accent and the other features an olive green. The painted surfaces are under ... morefixed glass. The tables are in good condition with minor evidence of age. There is some rubbing of the antiqued gold paint in a few areas which gives the pair more of an antiqued character. We are pleased to offer this unique pair of Mid Century side tables or nightstands. The pair are matched but the two are different sizes which would provide an interesting look. The pair feature teak wood with red. Mottled(black flecks) laminate tops. The tables are very sturdy and very nicely constructed. They are not marked with a manufacturer's mark except for the plywood that the laminate rests upon. The legs are tapered with metal feet. Vintage Mid Century Modern Walnut Teak Pair Nightstands Dixie Danish Style
This is a beautiful pair of mid century modern nightstands. Made by Dixie. Both are in absolutely fantastic condition. There are a few very minor scuffs and some spots where the lacquer finish is starting to wear thin, but even this is nearly invisible after a quick wipe down with some furniture polish. I'm not sure what type of wood is used. I don't think it's teak, but it's beautiful. The drawers work perfectly, and are dovetailed, solid wood construction. Of course. These are approx 40- 55 years old, so it's natural they have SOME wear, but that being said, you'd never know it. Overall, I'd rate these at about 9 or 9.5 out of 10 for condition. And they have dove-tailed drawers that are made out of solid wood on the inside that are working properly. These beautiful Nightstands/End Tables have an interesting beige/off-white painted finish. The tables have a single drawer with dovetail construction. The tables feature scrolled legs with scrolled stretcher supports.
