We are pleased to offer this pair of Mid Century Modern end or accent tables. These tiered tables feature solid wood with laminate tops on each tier. The wood is quite nice and has a blonde(with a khaki undertone) finish that allows the grain to show through. The wood is not veneer. It is solid. The legs flare slightly. They feature a flattened profile that narrows in width toward the bottom. The top sections feature a wide wood band with the top inset and recessed. The bottom tier is not banded. Both the upper and lower tier feature uniquely patterned laminate tops. The laminate is white with a unique striated pattern which is in a taupe/chocolate color. The pattern gives the tops a"woven, grass cloth" appearance. The tables are very nicely constructed. They do not have a manufacturer's mark, but they are very nice in both ... morequality and design. They are substantial in weight as well. They are in very good condition with only minor evidence of age and use. VERY NICE! Each table measures 26.25" tall. Up for consideration is a Mid Century Modern Broyhill Premier Bedroom set. The set consists of Head board footboard and rails. Nightstand, Gentleman's or Bachelors Chest and long chest with mirror. The measurements are may be off by an inch or two but here goes. The long dresser/ credenza is 31 inches high by 19 inches deep by 56 1/2 inches long. The mirror attaches to the back with two adjustable bars. The mirror itself is about 29 by 41 inches. The mirror has a few molded stars in the glass that resemble the stars on the rest of the set. Gentlemens Chest is 38 1/2 inches wide by 19 1/4 inches deep by 47 1/2 inches high. The small nightstand has some dust on top so it looks a little stained as such when in reality it is not like that. vintage midcentury modern Dixie WALNUT low NIGHTSTAND/end table ~ P/U Chicago IL Greater Chicagoland-area local pick up/delivery only(Saint Charles. IL- Far west Chicago suburbs) Up for auction: A gorgeous. Vintage, midcentury modern walnut low two-drawer nightstand or end table(commode" per its markings) It looks like it's likely ca. 1950s-60s, but I can't be certain. It's hardwood with walnut veneer; the legs are oak. Made by Dixie Furniture. Solid and sturdy. Dovetailed drawers. The photos were taken in relatively bright daylight lighting. It's been refinished- I think it's absolutely beautiful. The grain is gorgeous. And warms and pops in the light. The legs(oak) are a bit darker than the rest of it(walnut) giving it a bit of a cool two-tone effect. And in direct light, the drawer fronts seem a bit redder than ... morethe rest of it(just the cut of wood, the graining) giving it somewhat of a cool tri-tone effect. Otherwise, in different, cooler lighting, it's more uniform, less amber and red. By way of refinishing. It was chemically stripped by hand(the tops, sides and drawer faces were not sanded at all, other than between coats of poly, with super fine sandpaper) stained with a walnut oil-based stain, and given a few lights coats of a satin-finish, oil-base polyurethane. Condition: Overall. For it's age, I think it's in very nice vintage condition with age-appropriate imperfections. I think it displays beautifully(and is superbly useful) By way of flaws: 1) On the top surface. Near the left edge, centerish, there's a small cluster of scratches(within a 1" square area) I didn't attempt to repair or remedy this flaw- I don't really think it's detractive(photo) 2) minor, superificial scratches and edge wear; 3) the smallest veneer chip along the bottom of one drawer, near center; 4) this isn't necessarily a flaw, but a prior owner lined the bottom of the drawers with an atomic starburst paper(it's adhered) it's imperfect but charming and seems appro

Vintage, midcentury modern walnut low two-drawer nightstand or end table(commode" per its markings) It looks like it's likely ca. 1950s-60s, but I can't be certain. It's hardwood with walnut veneer; the legs are oak. Made by Dixie Furniture. Solid and sturdy. Dovetailed drawers. The photos were taken in relatively bright warm/daylight lighting- the grain is gorgeous. And warms and pops in the light. In less direct/cooler lighting, it'll appear less amber, less red. Near the left edge, centerish, there's a small cluster of scratches(within a 1" square area) I didn't attempt to repair or remedy this flaw- I don't really think it's detractive(photo) 2) minor, superificial scratches and edge wear; 3) the smallest veneer chip along the bottom of one drawer, near center; and(4) this isn't necessarily a flaw, but a prior owner lined the bottom of the drawers with an atomic starburst paper(it's adhered) it's imperfect but charming and seems appropriate to the piece(I'm sure it could be removed with modest effort) Overall. Here is a pair of solid walnut mid century Danish modern inspired night stand end tables manufactured in the 60's by Dixie furniture. Excellent vintage condition. It appears only from a certain angle with light hitting it that a flat stain was applied at some point. But only shows in a couple spots on the front. Definitely cannot be seen from the front or without really looking for it. No discolored dings or scratches but some minor surface scratches. Each piece measures 23" wide, by 23 3/4" tall, and 14" deep. Each piece has three drawers. A very simple look to these pieces they would perfectly accent any mid century motif. I have the matching tall chest of drawers as well it will be available on eBay in days to come. This is a very nice Mid Century Modern Kent Coffey nightstand/end table from The Simplicite' line. This lovely table would look great in any room of your home. I love the way you can see the beautiful grain of the wood on the sides. I also am an admirer of the copper accents by the drawer on the bottom of the stand as I have not seen this embellishment in any of his other lines. The stand is in very good vintage condition with no major nicks or cracks to the wood with the exception to the top that has some damage to a corner but could easily be refinished. You unscrew the base and then slide the face with the battery attached on the backside on a piece of wood. The wood case shows minimal vintage wear and overall it is in very good condition.
