The table features French styling with a clover leaf top and raised, three section fleur de lis pattern. The table has curved, triangular stepped base. The three table legs are substantially thick and scrolled. The scrolled design is raised on the outer borders for interest. The lavishly designed table top is a very heavy composite, faux stone. It has a rough, stone texture with the fleur de lis patterns smoothed and slightly raised from the roughly textured sections. The table top border is also smooth and somewhat raised. The clover leaf design is repeated on the inner corners of the border. The pattern is in a brown, polished stone design with beautiful, subtle gold flecks. The table is painted in white, slightly distressed, with gold glazing on the legs and upper base borders. The gold glaze has been white washed in areas giving depth to the finish. This is a beautiful table. It is in very good condition with only minor signs of age/use. There are a few, very light surface scratches on the top which have been highlighted with the white washed finish. The white has been allowed to rest in these tiny areas which adds to the aged character of the slightly distressed finish. The table is very elegant and has a low profile. IT IS EXTREMELY HEAVY. It is structurally quite nice sturdy. The listing is for one table, but we do have a matching, identical, second table which is available if you would like a pair. The table is 17" tall and 22" wide at the widest measurement. The table weighs approximately 42 lbs. Preferred method of shipping is by Greyhound. Made in England, Victorian era, Circa 1890, Mahogany, Hidden drawer, Carved leg, Dovetailed drawer, Some normal wear to top, Age splits and old repairs to apron, A wonderful antique specimen from England around 1890. This hall table was probably once used as a washstand. But today would function perfectly in a foyer, entryway, hallway, or stairwell. The mahogany has a particularly nice patina to it that can only come with age. The piece features a hidden drawer in the middle for a little bit of storage room. The nicely carved front leg gives the table ... moresome pizazz while the clean lines of the piece don't over do it. The drawer is dovetailed, a sign of high quality craftsmanship. There are a few age splits and old repairs in the apron shown in the photos. These are purely cosmetic phenomenon and do not affect the structural integrity of the piece. The top also shows wear marks consistent with age and has a faded ring to the right side. Overall the table is quite sturdy and would make a wonderful addition to any home. The top is a beautiful patinated mahogany. It is in good condition. You can see the slight ring to the right side. The top does show signs of wear consistent with age in the form of tiny dings all over the surface some of which can be seen here. The wonderfully carved leg is supportive and good looking. The hidden drawer pulls out to reveal some storage space. The drawer is dovetailed. A sign of high quality craftsmanship. Both sides have similar slight age separations and repairs on the apron. The back spring cover and is missing five of the screws and the truss rod cover is missing its screw. There are two springs, see photo, the others, if they were there, are missing. There are two small dings in the back of the neck, you can see close-up photos of these below. There are small dings on the top of the body towards the butt, see the 8th photo. And small dings around the edges on the top and back on the butt of the body, see them in the 9th, 10th, and 11th photos below, also some spots where the top layer of the finish has peeled off it looks like, still has finish, no exposed wood. Also some light scratches in different areas on the body. All this is the usual type wear on a used instrument. But as you can see in the photos the guitar looks great and plays the same way. Being offered for sale is this beautiful Antique Tall Chest with Mirror and carved Paw Feet with working Key circa 1910. This tall attractive chest offers a tremendous amount of storage possibilities with classic style and elegance. This chest features floral and shell carvings. Original mirror and hardware and a working locks with the key, with the original casters intact on all four feet. This chest measures a total height from the floor to the top of the mirror of 69 1/2 inches. Height from the floor to the top of the chest measures 48 inches, chest measures 38 inches wide and 22 inches deep and weighs approximately 145 lbs. The original beveled mirror measures 27 1/2 inches wide by 17 1/2 inches in height. The original beveled mirror is in fine antique condition with only some slight cloudiness and pivots from to back to adjust viewing ... moreangle. The mirror has a carved shell crest at the top and features elegant floral carved scroll mirror supports. The chest below has 3 smaller drawers over 4 larger ones each with dove-tailed ends. Vintage Antique Ukulele Ukelele, Roy Smeck Mahogany Martin clone 1930s
Vintage Roy Smeck from back in the golden day of the 30s. This is in generally good condition. Made from all solid Honduras Mahogany except for the nut, which looks like ebony. The fretboard is stained dark, with white dots for markers. It has a couple of nicks along the bottom edges, but other than that just some strum wear on the body and a bit on the frets. Bar frets. Correct vintage tuners, no cracks, warps, splits. Plays beautifully and holds tune. Very solid and strong, excellent for an 8o+ year old uke. This one you can wail on and feel ok about it. Uke is loud and the action good. This was a copy of Martin's style O. Though it is a bit narrower in the waist and the body a tad shorter. The head is almost identical, though the spacing on the tuners is wider. Also, this is an Island style uke, with the fretboard level with the face ... moreof the body, whereas Martins had an ebony fretboard overlaid on their mahogany neck. Needless to say, but I will anyway, the finish-out on the Martins is better. The finish of this uke is almost perfect condition. With the exception of the aforementioned dings. Really nice varnish, no scratches or scuffs worth mentioning. Looks like it was played a few times, then put away in a closet for 80 years. A great. Strong uke from back in the day. Please note: Insurance is offered as an option. I pack extremely well. But without insurance you will have no recourse if U.S. Postal damages it. I will not refund for shipping damage, only if I misstate the condition. Please consider this.

Even a fine inlay around the soundhole(see photo) The bridge has had a little glue put under it to stabalize it over the years. However I think these were screwed on to begin with. The tuners hace screws on the back that seem to be of the locking type so you have to loosen a little when tuning. Very fine blemish in front, may be a scratch in varnish, I do not think its a crack. Very solid. You dont usually fine these of completly made of Mahogany wood. The Japanese baritone ukes and instruments were some of the finest made. I would say this one is mid 20th century. Very straight neck. Looks like a little glue under the lower neck cap only, neck is fine. The size of the body is 10" by 7 1/4" by 3"deep. The body is even bound on the top. I am able to play up and down the neck to the body, I do not hear any fret buzz. If so it would be very little. You may want to lower the bridge or the nut to get lower action. It comes as you see it in the picture! The previous owner told me that this banjo was made in Japan in the 80’s. The only distinguishing mark I can find on it is the 3 rd fret marker is discolored. Not a banjo player all I can tell you is the action has been set low and there is no serious buzzing when played up the neck. The bridge and the nut were shimmed by someone years ago to adjust the action. A taller nut and bridge would have done the same job. The head looks clean with no holes or tears. It has two dovetail drawers with the round mahogany knobs still intact. Tapered and fluted front legs, an H cross-stretcher, and solid mahogany top that has been re-sprayed in our cabinet shop to remove the nicks and dings and to renew the gorgeous grains in the mahogany used. The top is a fluted column ending in a flame finial top, with the original brass threaded rods that hold the molded swivel frame in place, so the mirror can be adjusted up and down. The overall size is 34 inches wide, 20 inches deep, and 30 inches high. It is 54 inches high to the top of the mirror. The size of the mirror itself is 27 inches wide by 23 inches high. Antique Federal style mirrored dresser or chest of drawers dating from the early 1900's. Stunning flame mahogany veneers grace the surfaces of this piece and are decorated with intricate contrasting inlay. An inlay medallion of a lamp has been placed atop the swivelling mirror. Two smaller locking drawers are aligned over four larged drawers. Providing ample storage space. All the drawers are made with high quality dovetail construction. The entire piece is raised off of the ground by short tapered square legs sitting on brass and wood casters. Overall. This piece is in very good condition. There are some drip marks along the top edge of the mirror(from glue or wood finish, see picture) but no cracks or other damage. The wood has some wear associated with age, including chips and minor breakage to the veneers or inlay. See pictures. There are some markings on the bottom, but there is not a company makers name or stamp. The surface has some scratches and the finish on some edges are worn. There are a few small nicks. The center divider with the handle moves slightly when lifting the piece. Overall this piece is very solid and secure. The side panels and decorative slats on both sides are thick and heavy solid Mahogany Wood. 3/4' thick side panels and 1/2' thick slats. Beautiful warm rich color with a great patina. SquareTrade © AP6.0 This sofa is a n original ca. 1840 American Empire style built from solid Santo Domingo mah ogany moldings with cherry and white pine secondary woods and exquisitely veneered surfaces of bookmatched Santo Domingo crotc h veneer with whole crot ch veneer on lyre faces of arms. The base is constructed of half round and cove pattern all the way around front and sides. Very well formed and veneered. The double cyma-curved crestrail is classic American Empire. Significant positives about this piec e from the perspec tive of an antique f urniture restorer with over 30 years experience show that this piece stands out in at least 3 ways. The original veneering shows no sign of glue failure at all. It is amazin gly intact with very little damage. The finish appears to be original. In excellent condition, and finally, it appears ... moreto have been upholstered only twice- the second time ti me with s taples. Usually on a piece like this. The wood is literally riddled by several reupholsterings with tacks and nails and often requires serious repairs to the wood before it can be upholstered again. It was entirely hand made with the highest levels of craf tsmanship- no cut corners. Hand sawn. Hand planed. In other words, pieces like this are usually worn out and are done over so many times that they're no longer usable. Not this piece. It's one of the best p reser ved p ieces I've ever had in my shop- Golden Eagle Cabinet Shop. Negatives- at 170 years of age. One will want to av oid hard use. The re upholstery could use an application of gimp along the crest rail borders- a normal finishing touch not done yet. The original coil springs have diff erent spring so unds for di fferent places one might sit. And as befit s a dowager of mature age. There is a bit of lumpiness.
