No bed or mirror. We haven't found a maker's name on these pieces. Their appearance is very similar to Dixie Furniture's French Provincial pieces of the same era. But this manufacturer used a combination of solid wood, Masonite, particle board, and formica(details below) This set is well constructed. In great condition. Sturdy, clean, and intact. We are pleased to offer this exceptional pair of antique nightstands or side tables. This pair dates to around 1940. They are made of mahogany and have been painted white and distressed. The pair are elegant and sleek with a low profile. They feature a two tier design with open backs. They are French styled. Art Deco era, and have elongated lower sections with curved fronts. There have decorative square, raised wood pieces on the skirt of the lower tier. These have been left in the original finish to contrast with the paint. The legs are lovely in Duncan Phyfe style. The center leg column has also been left in the original finish. The table has ornate brass touches as well. There are lion face"door knocker" style pulls on each side between the two tiers. The drawer fronts are embellished with lovely hand carved florals and rondels. Detailed florals figure on the metal knobs of both the drawers and doors. The drawers are very nicely dovetailed- a sign of quality craftmanship. Hand carved florals also figure on the four corners ... moreof the 2 doors. They retain the original bevelled marble tops which are a soft tannish/dessert sand( color with dramatic veining- would compliment many color palettes. These nightstands are in very good antique condition. The marble tops have no cracks or stains. There are a few tiny chips along the edges of both- barely discernible. There is some fading on the sides of the stands. The interiors of the cabinets retain the original white glass/enamel. There is cracking to the glass/enamel lining inside one cabinet and a line crack on the shelf of one cabinet(refer to photos) All that being said. These cabinets really are in wonderful condition, especially considering the age. They are very sturdy. The doors and drawers function easily. They were very well taken care of. These are either vintage or antique nightstands. In the provincial style, with some very attractive Deco/nouveau influences. They are stamped on the back. Though I've been unable to identify what maker is tied to this stamp. They are dovetailed drawers. With a really cool"false bottom" That is, the bottom of the drawer can be pushed back, to reveal another hidden compartment below! Good condition overall. Though they do show some signs of wear, in particular the lock decor piece is missing from one of the drawers, and the false bottom cover has pin holes where it has been poked to open it with. DESCRIPTION Pair of vintage 1950s Drexel Touraine Nightstands. Drexel produced this stunning French Provincial furniture line in the 1950s and 1960s. Beautiful cream finish with gold accents. Still very popular and sought after today, very popular to refinish in newer, more trendy colors. Solid wood construction. Dovetail joints, everything you would expect from a higher-end furniture maker. The finish of these pieces are original. They are as found, I did not polish or clean either piece, the color is still beautiful, tho there is fine crazing, I've noted this in the photographs provided. We are pleased to offer this beautiful pair of Mid Century. Vintage nightstands/tables. This lovely pair features a gorgeous cream finish with a golden yellow over glaze and gold paint in the recessed accent areas. The nightstands have a 2 drawer, slightly bowed front with large, ornate drawer pulls. The side profiles feature a carved/recessed border that runs just inside the perimeter. This is highlighted with the gold paint. The tops feature a raised outer. The cabriole legs have an upper section that creates the rounded corners of the table top.
