CHINESE EXPORT PORCELAIN RETICULATED PLATE. The plate is finely decorated in the 100 Antiques pattern. Showing a combination of precious objects birds, butterflies and flowers. It is about 8 ¼” 21cm) in diameter. The reticulation is especially well done. According to Schiffers’ book Chinese Export Porcelain. The pattern was derived from earlier decoration and was sold in the Chinese market as well as abroad. The authors claim to have seen fewer forms in this pattern than other Chinese patterns. The plate is in very good condition. There is a ¼” hairline crack at the edge and a little flaking/wear to the green enamel. An unusual and gorgeous piece!

It can be cleaned off but I did not do it but it has worn off on one side. this piece measures 18' x 3 1/8' and is 1/16' thick. This is a gorgeous pair of ornate brass sconces They are matching. Vintage and original. I was told that they are from the late 1920's. They came out of a brownstone in Brooklyn Heights. They weigh approx. 11 lbs per sconce. The length of the mounting bracket is 9 inches tall and 3 inches at its widest point. When mounted to the wall. They stick out approx. 14 inches. The measurement from the very bottom of the mounting bracket to the top of the candle(not including bulb) is approx. 15 inches. They have 5 lights per sconce. There are 13 large blueprint style drawings from the factory 4- 8 by 10 photos. Five ads from magazines and a plethora of sales documents and catalogs. Gerstenslager was the primer builder of Rescue apparatus from the 1940s through the 1970s, While some of these vehicles shared cowl chassis with commercial vehicles others, the larger ones shared components with bus and motor home chassis. They left the rescue body business to concentrate on producing automotive stampings. They started our as a wagon builder in 1860 and spent much of the 1920 as a truck body builder. Although the test is suppose to be"Standard" a close examination shows that the amount of hose layout and the Nozzle bore size has a great effect on pump volume. Also before the war(1939) new standards were proposed to measure the volume of water at 150 Pounds of pressure. However because of the war the increase bas postponed and then reintroduced again in 1949. Some departments adopted the 150 pound standard and it is identified on this test sheet.these 150 pound pumper became known as Class A pumpers and the Class B pumpers continued to run at 120 pounds during test. Here are vintage Thermoses from the 1950s. 1960s and 1970s, with great Icy Hot, Keapsit and Holtemp from the Thermos brand. Highlights include the great green and yellow Holtemp, the two tall red pint Icy Hot and the matched pair of blue/white/black spiral stripe Keapsit thermoses. As to be expected with this antique lot. Some are in better shape than others, with rust, scratches and discoloration present in many of them. Three cup lids are cracked(see final three photos) But you'll likely never again find all these great thermoses in one lot, and for several of them— in particular the tall blue Keapsit on the front row— you'll look long and hard to find them anywhere.
