Antique Anglo Indian Carved Brass& Enamel Vase British India Signed 7 1/2" MORE PHOTOS BELOW- Click to Enlarge A lovely antique Anglo Indian brass vase with enamel decoration. Marked& signed to the base, and dating to the early 20th century. The vase. Which sits on a circular pedestal foot, is globular in form with a flared neck and has a carved decoration with a hand enamelled ground. The vase has six bands of decoration: the upper bands with a scrolling floral/ foliate design with alternating pink& pale green enamel grounds(the flowers on the green bands with tiny clear red enamel highlights) and the bottom band with an acanthus type decoration and a light blue enamel ground. The base of the vase has the dot pricked monogram H.K and the dot pricked MADE IN BTSH INDIA/ 1054.C Condition is very good. With no dents and only ... morethe expected rubbing/ crazing to the enamel. The vase stands approx 7 1/2" 19cm tall. And is rather heavy for it's size at around 0.65 Kg.

A hexagonal foot, mouth and lid, and on each side of the chamber a raised tear drop motif. It has a decorative curved handle and a spout with a slight'S' shape. The body is unencumbered by motifs. It has a simple double line chased pattern around the raised tear drops in the center of the chamber of the ewer. Front and back, and around the neck. The ewer is heavy in the hand and weighs 2.2 Kilos(4lbs 12oz) The spout is a little off center in the side on view. It has a soft golden colour. Antique Hand Crafted Indian Wood & Inlaid Brass Perfume 6 Bottle Box Chest India
A wonderful antique wood and inlaid brass perfume bottle chest/ box. It was handcrafted in India sometime in the second half of the 1800's. It was made to hold six small perfume bottles. I have only three of the decorated bottles and they are missing their stoppers. The box is a beautiful vanity piece but it does have some flaws. The lid of the box should be edged/ bordered brass but the piece is missing as is one of the brass corner pieces(see the bottom at the back of the box) The box should be footed with four feet but they are missing and I do not have the key. I think it is possible from others I have seen that it should have a mirror in the interior top of the box but does not(could replace I suppose) Even so the box is a beautiful antique hand crafted box. Here is a very unique treasure. It's a brass elephant dating back to the 1900's best I can tell. It was made in India per sticker. The sticker says"Solid Brass" but I believe it means the material used to make the figurine is solid brass. Not that the Elephant itself is solid brass because I think it's hollow. There is one discolored area where the rear leg joins the body. Don't know if it needs cleaned there or what. It measures about 7 1/2" from surface to top of the head and 10 inches from tip of trunk to tail. It's a conversation starter for sure! This is a beautiful vintage Indian brass teapot. It is engraved throughout. The spout turns left and right on this pot. I removed some of the tarnish on it so that you could see the work more clearly. I think the top of the pot is sealed with acrylic and I have left it alone. The spot I cleaned will soon return to the patina of the rest of the pot. This must have been made during British Rule as it is stamped with a"5" on the handle. That would be my guess. For sale is a rare antique Indian cast brass oil lamp. This piece hangs 11.5" 12" from a primitive welded brass chain. And has two birds, instead of just one. You will be hard pressed to find this exact piece again. The lock still fits snug and the hinges are still working fine. There is a patina to be found in places. But overall this piece is in good condition. Measures 6.5" long, and 3.5" tall. Looks to be early 1900's judging by the craftsmanship. Please ask questions before buying and thanks for looking! It is not new and it is clearly used(has residue from burned incense inside it) but it is in good shape. Has an ornate leaf pattern carved into it all around the sides.
