It is in great condition considering it is around 150 years old, and is still sharp. I was told that it was used during WW1 in the trenches by the previous owner who I purchased this knife from along with another Civil War Era Knife, and two WW2 knives. CAMILLUS 1981 JET PILOT SURVIVAL SEATHED KNIFE with MILITARY VEST
This is a US Navy issued Jet Pilot Knife made in 1981 along with the original issue military survival vest. The knife is stamped on the hex steel pommel with Camillus. N.Y. 11-1981. It measures 9.5" in total length. The heavy, clip point blade itself measures 5" and has saw-teeth along the backside. The leather sheath has the original sharpening stone in the front pocket. Both the knife and the military vest have been in storage for the past 25+ years. The vest has a few tears/rips from usage in the 80's. The knife is still sharp and in great condition. Up for your consideration today is a lot of Five(5) Winchester Limited Edition fixed-blade knives! The knives cover Winchester's annual Limited Edition release from 2005-2008. With there being two knives from the 2008 release! These knives would make a great gift for any outdoorsman or collector! All but the 2005 knife are in unused condition. However, all of the knives have been handled; meaning that they have been inserted and removed from their sheaths. Looked at, held, stored, etc, and therefore may have some slight imperfections from being handled. None of the knives have been sharpened and all retain their factory edge. I would say this holds true for the 2005 knife as well. But again, bear ... morein mind that that particular knife has been used, and therefore may have lost at least some of it's original edge. I should also let you know that the blade of the 2005 knife is not quite as pristine as it appears in the photographs. There is scratching on the blade. From use, but the scratches themselves are very light. I just thought I would let you know that the camera did not pick up on the imperfections. There is also at least one small scratch on the guard of the 2006 knife. These are the only imperfections that I know of. Please see the condition details section for more information. Here are vintage Fort Riley Fire Department badges and captains pins along with a firefighter knife. The badge with blue shows Crew Chief Fort Riley Fire Department#10. It has two bugles in the center. The full silver colored one states Member Fort Riley Fire Department#39. It shows firefighter tools in the center(ladder. Helmet, nozzles, etc. The two pins show captain bugles. Note they are pointed down to keep the water out! The knife shows Fire Fighter on the handle and a fire department maltese cross on the blade.
