Vintage Holy Water Font, Pink Plastic Angel Head
This auction is for a vintage pink plastic holy water font in the shape of an angel. It is about 5.5 inches high and 6 inches from wing tip to wing tip. The bowl to hold the water extends out about 1.5 inches from the rest of the font. The details on this font are really beautiful. And it is in very good condition, with no chips, cracks or breaks. At the very top of the halo you can see a small dent, which was probably caused by hanging the font from a nail, but I do not see any other damage. The font is a real peachy-pink color. As shown in the first picture. The rest of the pictures show the color to be lighter than it really is. I've just started using my new camera, and getting the color exactly right is still a bit difficult for me. The first picture is the closest. Payment is by PayPal only. Lovely vintage hartland plastic holy water font featuring Jesus administering the Holy Eucharist to a boy at his side. This font is marked with Hartland. Wisc. and measures 5" tall by 3" wide. This is a really neat plastic font with lovely detail and paint work. There are no apparent cracks but the vessel seems to be slightly misaligned from the portion featuring Jesus. Vintage blue hard plastic holy water fountain. It is 6" in height. The Blessed Mother is in the center and on the blue part on each side of her there is an angel on on top is a dove. On the water holder there is a small nick and crack but it is still very tight so will not leak any holy water. Top back side has an opening to hang on a nail. There are some scratches on the back and needs a light cleaning. I remember these well- my mom had one in every bedroom hanging on the door frame and every night she would sprinkle holy water on us and tell us good night. Following her tradition I have one hanging in one of my bedrooms. This did not belong to her or me- I purchased it at an estate sale. Thank you for looking and happy to answer any questions.

Here is a vintage holy water font that is made of plastic. It has a print of Jesus framed by an arch. The font measures 3 1/4" wide. And it is 6 3/4" tall. The print of Jesus has a little ripple at the bottom, as it must have gotten wet at one time. The holy water holder is a little dirty in there, but I didn't want to clean it and get the print wet. This is a very collectible vintage molded plastic holy water font depicting the Guardian Angel protecting a young child and with unusual Morning Glory style fluted blue and gold basin all cast in single mold one piece design. It probably dates from the 1950s or earlier and is marked#59. Hartland Molded. Hartland Wisc(onsin) on the reverse back on the left hand side of the angel's wing. The font measures 5 1/2" long, with basin 3" wide and 1 1/2" deep and is graded in Very Fine condition. It came to me with a little brass nail included which fits perfectly into the tiny round perforation at the pinion of the angel's wing where it touches the face(cf photos#3&4) the ideal spot for mounting this very lightweight and very good example of excellent vintage Catholic memorabilia. This vintage plastic holy water font was made in Italy by a company called Star. It is 8" tall and 4.5" wide. It is a tan color with gold accents. Vintage, exact age or maker unknown, it is unmarked that we can see, 110V electric with cord and wind-up, there is a mechanism with key and on-off switch on other side that we believe rotated the interior, it has been overwound and no longer works, lighted, mixed materials(metal& plastic) Crucifix Holy Water Font. As shown, it measures a bit over 11" tall x 5 1/4" dia. base and weighs 2 pounds. It is in at least good, preowned, used condition, the interior light, switch& cord are all ok, we believe it had some type on finial on top which is now missing, everything else looks good, we have not tried to repair the rotating mechanism.
