This antique walnut Holy Water font is just stunning. Especially if you're a fan of Victorian style! Has very Gothic elements, gorgeous wood, and a removable solid copper basin. The first thing I thought when I saw it is what an incredible planter this would be! This is meant to fit in a corner, and serve no other purpose(now that it's entered"civilian" life) than to look good while doing it. Has an oval cartouche along the back side with: Butler, Style# F25, 75-600. The information is burned into the back, like a brand. This Holy Water font really needs a good cleaning and polishing; as soon as it gets it, it will gleam. A beautiful piece! Made by Butler. From around the 1890s-1910s. Overall.
