For Sale is a Vintage Toddlers Unique Wooden School Desk& Chair Combination. It was made By: The Merry Bear Co. in Indiana. It is still in great condition. It is nailed together. And is very sturdy. It has a nice classic design, with a carved heart on each side of the wooden legs to give it extra appeal. It would most likely fit a toddler around 2-3 years of age. The height of this desk and chair unit is 32.25" maximum(top of the back) the seat is abut 17" from the ground, and the desk is about 27" from the ground. Consists of small platform for desk(about 23.5 inches long x 11.5 inches wide, and about 3/4" thick) and wooden seat(about 17" x 15 7/8" and about 3/4" thick) with wooden back(6.25" high x 16" in length, x 7/8" thick) attached together with the metal supports that also include the 4 metal legs.The wood has some patina and shows some surface wear and other wear from age, including some scratches on the desk surface. The wood and the metal is sturdy and looks good having some patina. Up for auction is a black& red child's school desk. The desk legs adjust from 21 1/2" in the lower position and 26 1/2 in the upper position. The desk measures 20 1/2" x 14 3/16" and has an inkwell& pencil groove. The chair seat is 19" x 12 1/4" and the back is 19" x 15 1/8" The chair in the down position is 14" and 17" up. These are all approximate measurements. It is in good condition with surface rust. The desk will be partially disassembled to reduce box size and shipping cost. It is not difficult to reassemble. It is wood and metal and some additional cleaning may be desired. There are some splatters of paint on the desk top and the top of the back of the chair as photoed. Antique School Desk, Ornate, Early Art -Deco, Pre 1910 to Post 1900. Vintage.
This antique school desk has the correct aging of being made between 1900 and 1910. The desk has ornate Art Deco cast iron designs and fitted groved wood surfaces. The desk is all orginal exsept one of the two screws in the underneath of the wooden Back Rest. The desk is 25 inches tall. The horizontal leangth from the front of the bench seat to the back of the desk top is 25 and 1/2 inches. The leangth across the desk top is 18 and 3/4 inches. The desk has a patent number that is little difficult to readbut appears to be 478786. There is not maker name on the desk. The desk holds together well. The desk is heavy and should be handled by the cast Iron when moved. Please view all wear in the photographs before buying. Antique/ Vintage School Desks Wood seats and desk top with metal sides as seen in pictures. This are roughly 100 years old and have been in my family for over 50 years. They came from a Racine or Kenosha. Wisconsin school. The desks come in two parts. One part is two desks with two chairs. The under shelf of one of the desks is missing. Second part is a folding chair. All three chairs fold up. The height is roughly 28" at the highest point. Desks are about 21" wide and length is about 58" long with seat folded. PICK UP ONLY! I donated my truck to charity so I can't deliver this item. I'm about 75 miles north of NYC in the beautiful Hudson Valley.

Offering for sale a Vintage 1971 Fisher-Price Little People#923 Play Family School House. Issued 1971-1978, and a 1972 Fisher-Price Toys School Days Desk#176. The 1972 Logo on the desk is displayed below. For your consideration is this great teaching center where children can play and learn. The Play Family School plus the School Days Desk are total learn and play centers to develop a child’s imagination and without question help them develop skills for many a happy day at the real life! This overall condition of this School House is good with the exception of a 3/4" glued crack on the right side eave corner. As shown by arrow in Photo 11, and a chip from the hardboard base directly below the right side eave, as shown by Photo 10. The two number/letter trays with letters are complete with all letters. However number"8" is a ... moredifferent style. The lithographic on both the school desk and the school house. With the exception of the roof, are aged excellent. The school house clock handles turn; the bell rings and the drop down side wall stays secure when closed. The roof. Opposite the side with the drop down side wall, is missing the delaminated litho. No noticeable damage, other than the above mentioned, was found when thoroughly cleaning all components of these sets. The teacher and 2 students are wood and 2 students are plastic. Adorable vintage desk for an American Girl Doll. This was handed down to us years ago and I don't know a lot about it. Bottom is heavy cast iron. Top pieces are real wood, pieces are screwed together, not glued. It appears to be in good played with condition. No major flaws, but wood could use a good polishing. I don't want to do anything to it because I am not an expert, and this may be like an antique where if you refinish it, it loses value so I'm not altering anything. It is not complete but does have a lot of the original pieces. Includes letter tray full of letter magnets(but I think there was originally multiples of some of the numbers and they are missing) Number magnets(at least a 6 or 9 is missing, there is an extra 1, and 3 of them have the magnets missing out of the back) 2 number card inserts, 14 word/letter card inserts. The desk has some surface wear, some of the inserts have some wear(minor creases) the chalkboard surface has wear and some dark marks that won't come off. The chalk and chalkboard eraser is missing.
